Update: Went here for my friends bday party for dinner and it was a good! The food was good but bland for some as I usually spice mine up with Tabasco sauce! I love the gravy on my mashed potatoes!
🥔 Add more photos of the birthday party!
Request: Please please please improve your service please we had to constantly waive the staff down!
Thank you 🙏🏼
It was raining cats and dogs in bangkok listening and I was getting a Manny Petty next-door and decided to go to the Old German beer house for a drink with a friend of mine that I haven’t connected with over the last few weeks as she was away in 🇫🇷 France !!
So we decided to meet because I did not wanna ruin my nail polish to come here and I’ve never been here before and I was kind of have a little bit of a hankering for German food however I ended up ordering fries and potato Croquettes and the potato croquettes were amazing I would highly recommend those to be ordered as an appetizer with your beer while you’re waiting for your true actual German meal to arrive !!
After sprinkling on an entire Tabasco sauce bottle on our french fries we were so happy sipping on the beer and also the margarita my friend ordered!!
I will most definitely be coming back for some good old German food because I was really hankering for it however my eyes are bigger than my stomach at this point!!
We ordered a bed way too many drinks but that’s the way happy hour flows here!!
Will be back and I would highly recommend this place and the only reason I gave at the stars that it gave it is because service could use quite a bit of improvement!! 😁🥹
And my dear dear friend came up in a yellow raincoat which I think she looked absolutely adorable in!

Read moreLet me say this: I saw a German type bar, ok went in. Do you want food? It was 4pm odd. No, just a few beers and watch the tennis as I was waiting for family. Had a few beers, and all was well. Next minute had two more people sit at my table. They were like hello, I'm from another country. They spoke English. I engaged and looked around as there were a lot of empty tables??? All of a sudden, I had a lady put a drink receipt in my bar cup. It was from an hour ago for a 200bht drink. I said, "No, that's clearly wrong." Got the old confused look. I said I had kept track of my drinks. Took it out, and I checked out. Party of 6 came in drunk, and the servers were all over them. I even know Thai and the staff gambling with each other, eating in front of patrons slurping noodles was a turn off. The bar staff were laughing more than the patrons. The place was dead. Have at least a bit of professionalism whilst working. Four styles of one brand of beer on tap being from Germany. 230 bht plus for pint. Stick to the singa, but watch the extra drinks...
