J Salon & Massage — Local services in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

Hello to my pookies reading my Google Review, so I have really thick hair and I was coming back to the hotel really late & leaving early in the morning and the blow dryer in the hotel is NOT it because it takes forever for my hair to dry so I decided to just go get my hair washed & blow dried at a near by salon. I came across J Salon so I decided to give it a try.

I walked in and I was told it would cost 600 baht (which i thought was pretty reasonable given that my hair is really thick and also long) and it took about 30 minutes for the entire thing.

As for the service I received, it felt like my mom was doing my hair. She wasn't really gentle with her hands but she did the job really well. She shampooed my hair 2x (bless her soul because that's what I do) and she also sprinkled in a little treatment because she said my hair was damaged.

I showed her a pic of the blow dry style I wanted and she didn't execute it exactly the way I wanted but I was honestly satisfied with the result! She was pretty tough when it comes to blow drying but like I said, it just felt like my mom doing my hair when I was younger. I was staying at the accommodation down the road and decided to visit this salon for a toner and blow dry. It was very clean, the ladies were very friendly and could converse in English, which is really important in the service industry, particularly Hair and Beauty. The products used were good and advertised as a reputable L’Oréal brand. Toner result - excellent. Booking was easy and convenient and other services are offered at the salon as well. Thank you Bee.
