Q's Bar and Lounge — Local services in Dubai

Just a few points that were observed:

It was a birthday celebration, yet no one wished my husband or gave special attention. I did ask if they could sing happy birthday - waiter said they could, but they never did.

We were looking forward to having the signature dish - Beef Ribs, but we were told that it is not available.

I order a glass of Apothic Red Wine - and unfortunately it was corked or spoiled (not cosumable). The manager came and agreed that it was spoiled. I was offered another choice.

I wanted to have a Litchi Martini to end off my evening, the order was taken, but after 5-min the manager came to inform that he just finished the litchis, so they won't be able to make it. He did offer to make something else, but I declined. In the end I asked for a Latte - to which the manager replied that this is not a cafeteria, they do not serve coffee.

I did give the feedback to the manager (Italian guy) and he blamed the hotel for not giving them what they need to run a smooth operation. This was (in my opinion) not what a guest needs to hear.

I then proceeded to pay the full bill of 650AED.

It was a lovely atmosphere, but I will struggle to send luxury guests...

Exceptional visit to Q’s, we visited in celebration of a birthday. My cousin found the lounge searching online for live music, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Soul/ R&B musicians. We entered the beautiful hotel greeted with smiles and the same energy once we entered the lounge. The band blew our mind, what an amazing last minute decision that made our visit to Dubai memorable. The musicians worked the crowd well with engagement and personal touches. We were introduced to the drummer Josh, the saxophone player AJ, and the charming singer Kyng. When I say they blew our mind, we assumed they played together for years but they are simply talented, dedicated, artist who are equip to play anywhere with anyone. You won’t regret giving Q Lounge a try. Also had a guest singer from the audience chime in Shanice, lovey sultry voice. We tried a variety of food: the chicken sandwich was tasty, the blue cocktail came to the table on fire, the sushi was delightful, the wings were a disappointment: crispy but no flavor or seasoning. I look forward to returning and hope to have the same...

Qs is one of the favorite places for us to go at night. Every month there is a new band that performs. The band has been always good and the vibes are great. The staff have been changed recently and the service went down. What happened during our last visit was disappointing and irresponsible from the staff. We have reserved a table (as usual) for that night for dinner, when we arrived (on time) the table that has been given is on the bar; claiming that this is the reserved table! Being a frequent visitor those tables are used for someone to have smoke and drink; stay 30 mins and leave. for sure not appropriate for a dinner. The manager simple answer was: ‘I understand and I am sorry I can’t do anything’. That was the response from lesean the manager. My advice when booking to be careful, the new staff have no concept of differentiating between a proper table to sit and dine and a high table with no back seats.
