Rare Earth — Local services in Ashland

I had a very disappointing interaction here. I was super excited to come here to shop and had intentions to spend a lot of money here and continue to do so. Unfortunately I felt forced to leave because I had my service dog with me and some rude women with long grey hair told me I had to hold her in my arms to be in there or leave. I told her that my dog is a service dog, therefore I can't hold her because she can't perform her service if she is not able to move. This women had the audacity to say my dog was not a "real" service dog. Then I told her I would be happy to show her the certifications and that I didn't have her service dog vest on her at the moment because it was 100+ degrees and I didn't want her to be too hot. The women continued to ignore my responses to her and just intimidated me and made me feel so horrible I just decided to leave instead of being confrontational. That is no way to treat a customer! I have never had any issues, I've taken her everywhere with me grocery store, restaurants, etc. I would understand those places more because of health reasons, but this is a retail store. Also, my dog is extremely trained and just stays right by me. So, there was absolutely no reason for the way we were treated! Needless to say I will not be going back and will not be recommending to anyone. Such a shame because everyone else working there besides this retched woman was so sweet and had no problem with...

To the owner of rare earth I do not know how I didn’t see this response from you back in December regarding hippa violation and untruth I would like to discuss it and move on and to discuss the other concerns and issues in hopes we can get passed them as there is a lot of dishonesty going around I can be The only way you would knew that I saw her husband who works at quality counciling services is that he broke violation and told his wife….i only know that his wife works at rare earth is he personally told me during one of our sessions that his wife was a store manager at rare earth because I had bad experience there that is the truth I got treated like garbage maybe I should called a manager before posting a bad review but nevertheless I wasn’t treated fairly and because your store manager doesn’t like how I was seeing tje therapist I was seeing or whatever the case may be it should have been handled more professionally if we could get passed this that...

I’ve lived in Ashland my whole life and Rare earth use to be warm welcoming people who are nice and helpful. I’ve had noticed many rude interactions by the workers towards customers. My friend and I went in and I was excited to go and spend some decent money. My friend was stared down, followed from the moment we entered the store. She pulled aside another manager and explained how she felt and the situation. The one staring my friend down overheard my friend talking to the other manager and was very rude, confrontational and asked her to leave. It’s weird because Rare earth is “supposedly” a zen and good energy place to be.. not so much when the workers there are the complete opposite.. would not recommend going there until they hire better staff with zen and good intentions and powerful...
