I was so excited to book a different experience for my husband, son, and me to celebrate my husband for Father's Day. I followed the instructions and booked the pool experience with no problems. The company's FAQ states this service was provided to all pools, including AirBNBs, etc., in the Metro Atlanta area. Since the pool we booked through Swimply (as instructed) is located in Conyers, which is in Metro Atlanta, I figured the delivery fee wouldn't be more than double or $50 since it started at $25 for Metro Atlanta. I was sent a message on Instagram after booking, not called, by the owner to tell me that delivery would be $85 because we are too far to travel, especially if she's booked a party in Buckhead or Sandy Springs. She mentioned her GPS showing we are 52 miles away, and she typically reserves within 30 miles. I checked GPS, as well, and it shows where I live in Covington, being 30 miles away from the business address, and Conyers neighbors us and is closer to Atlanta. Nowhere did it state that she only would like to service the Downtown Atlanta, Sandy Springs, or Buckhead area. I offered to meet perhaps halfway in Downtown Atlanta to pick up my tray instead, and she said that commute would add extra time to the service and incur an additional surcharge for the tray rental. I asked if I could purchase the food and pick it up, and she said that was not an option. I asked to cancel the experience, and the site allowed me to cancel the booking for a refund, but the owner has chosen not to honor my cancellation and keep my $77 deposit. The up charge was not expressed prior to booking to give me the option to decide if I wanted to pay that. As a business owner myself, this is not the way to treat patrons, and the information provided was misleading. I called the owner, and she was rude and hung up in my face. Read moreI booked a reservation online for my upcoming birthday. Within minutes of my booking I realized I chose the wrong date. I emailed and texted the error of the date and sent the date I actually needed right away. The owner called me and I apologized about choosing the wrong date. She then informed me my actual date was not available and asked if I wanted to pick another date. Since this was for my actual birthday this was the only date I could make work so I said I would need to cancel. She then said they don't allow refunds. I made this reservation less than an hour before we spoke, I informed her there was no output of work on her end made into my reservation and why would she choose not to refund me instead of souring the relationship and keep my 184$. Scheduling was a breeze due to the detailed outline provided on the website. When I had additional questions, I was able to connect with the owner who was professional, patient & kind. She even made some great menu suggestions. Delivery was prompt, setup was breathtaking & the food was simply delectable. I also can’t forget to mention that the photos taken were on point!!!
