Infantry Landscaping — Local services in Atlanta

I have used this business for over a year for regular yard maintenance and a couple small projects. They consistently lack in communication despite promises on improvement. They are very hard to reach by phone and it usually takes multiple emails to receive a response.

Every other week I typically get an email notification saying my yard will be serviced the next day however, it is 3-5 days later that they typically show up without any updated communication. They also tend to show up on non-mowing weeks as well which results in extra charges. We have had many incidents where the crew showed up and figured out a way to unlock my yard gate from the inside and once where our dogs were let out. The owner did apologize and provide free services from that incident with promises of improved communication. We did see improved communication for about 3 weeks and then it dropped off again.

I also recently used them for a small landscaping project. The project was scheduled by the business and then they no showed without communication. After reaching back out twice and then finally asking to cancel, I was miraculously told they would show the next day. I also attempted to reach out with some small concerns after the project was completed however I received no response. I wish the best to this company and hope they are able to improve their practices in the future but at this time will no longer be using or recommending to friends/community.

Jose Fuentes-Collazo and his company, Infantry Landscaping, have been a wonderful company to work with in addressing my home’s lawn-care needs. The company has not only kept my yard mowed regularly, it has also regularly trimmed my shrubs, removed weeds from my retaining wall and driveway, and pulled ivy from some of the large trees around my home. I have been especially appreciative of Infantry Landscaping’s communication procedures, which are both clear and quick in responding to customer questions and concerns. For instance, one morning recently, I called the company and left a voicemail asking if a small tree could be picked up and delivered to my home. The company called me within minutes of the voicemail, helped set up a pickup-and-delivery schedule, and delivered the tree by mid-afternoon that day—for free! Three months ago, I had to end my relationship with a landscaping company that I had used for over three years. In looking for a new company, I decided to try Infantry Landscaping, wanting to support the efforts of local veterans while hoping to find a company that would provide thorough service. Infantry has been a wonderful company to work with. We are repeat customers due to their outstanding work. We originally had our fence moved and redone and they have the job done in a day. So we had them come back to tame the jungle that was our backyard. We had a full renovation done that including a tear down and grading, tree and shrub removal, then sod installation. The team also helped us make a dog run and new deck stairs. To protect our new lawn due to an unruly neighbor we also had a French drain installed. The team did an amazing job taking our backyard and transforming it into an oasis. There were a few small miscommunications, but Jose and his team were prompt and courteous to correct any errors and went above and beyond to truly ensure we got what we wanted and paid for.l . They do not argue, but truly take charge of the problem and seek to find a resolution. They are great at explaining their job and current goals and tasks. The whole is amazing to work with and the crew is very sweet. They'll never be happier than if you give them some drinks and chips for their insanely hard work ethic and attention to detail!
