I live in Dallas but travel frequently, usually staying at Hilton Hotels as Iām a Hilton Honors Diamond member. Iām also in my early 60ās, have never stuck to a workout program as I travel way too much, and just have had a hard time overall as I come from a family that didnāt prioritize fitness. Making it harder is the fact that none of my friends are into fitness so there is no motivation there.
I found F45 at the Hilton in downtown Austin by chance. I was headed to their gym and btw, the gym at this Hilton is easily the best Iāve ever seen for a hotel. But, I digress. The F45 studio is on the same floor as the gym, pool, and locker room. After my workout, I stopped in to have a chat with Coach Bruno, who runs this location. I found out that this location is not only the only F45 located in a hotel, but that there are 2 more locations planned at the Hilton in Dallas and Houston. Since I travel mostly in Texas, this was an incredible discovery. Hilton Honors members even get discounted drop-in fees.
I typically work out at the same time when Iām there and have made a bunch of friends with the regulars who work out at that same time slot. Itās been about 6 months and Iām still going strong. There is no doubt that the workouts are tough, but that is how I intend to grow and progress. Along with the friendships Iāve made and the overall improvements in my health, working out at this F45 has really changed my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first tried F45 at the Hilton Austin a year ago, I never heard of the brand or the workouts they do. Now I see F45 gyms worldwide and they seem to be growing quickly. I can see why, the workouts are only 45 minutes, fun and the body transformation is both measurable by the available in-body scans as well as by the compliments I get from my friends. My energy level has increased and the overall environment with the regulars, drop-ins, and coaching staff is amazing.
This particular F45, run by an awesome international man of mystery Bruno, is unique in that it is part of the Hilton fitness center environment, so the locker rooms, sauna, steam, pool, hot tub, pool bar, etc. are all available, as well as the second fitness room for those between F45 class times day or night.
I quit my fancy Lifetime Fitness membership that I attended maybe once a month and switched to F45 at the Hilton Austin, which I have attended over 150 times in the past year and still going strong. The consistency speaks for itself. Thank you to the great coaching staff and community that keeps us going and is there to help everyone achieve results regardless of body state and fitness level.
If you live in Austin or are visiting, do yourself a favor and check out F45 at the Hilton Austin hotel. It has made working out fun for me and may just do the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn December 2022, I heard about this program called F45 at our annual condo meeting. They were building a studio at the Hilton in downtown Austin (the only F45 located within a hotel), and it would be like no other F45 studio in the world. Besides being located in a hotel, full access to the hotelās amenity deck (pool, hot tub, bar, lockers, sauna, gym), free parking, free InBody scans, and discounts at the hotel restaurants are all included in the membership! Itās a crazy good deal!!!
Itās now been a year since I first joined and Iāve taken about 250 classes in that period! Coach Bruno is the general manager of the studio and has an extraordinary amount of enthusiasm for the program. His classes and those of the other coaches are all high energy and motivating across all levels of fitness. Regarding this last point, the coaching staff are very good at coming up with alternate movements to work around any physical limitations or previous injuries that might create a future limitation.
I am very glad I joined this F45 studio and look forward to many more years there. I highly recommend you check them out, whether you are just staying at the hotel or are an...
