I have been coming to Halal Time for several years now and I have to say he consistently has the best falafel in town. I’ve tried a lot of falafel throughout the years, but Halal Time has this special spice and flavor plus a slight bit of heat. I have bought their falafel for many of my friends and all of them absolutely love it and agree that it’s some of the best falafel I’ve ever had.

The cheese fries are phenomenal here. The fries are really crispy and delicious and it’s just cheese that’s melted in the microwave, but it goes so well with the fries and he adds in three dabs of his sauces for dipping and it just stays crispy and it’s perfect late night or anytime dish.

I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu. His lamb and chicken combo with rice is phenomenal. I love his rice because it’s so full of flavor and it’s quality good.

The service here is always top-notch and friendly, and they are usually very quick efficient in making orders. The bottom line is this food. Here is exceptional quality, and full of flavor. It’s my main go to place for falafel, cheese, fries, and everything halal on the menu. Never had a...

If you have any modifications or allergies DO NOT EAT HERE. The guy at the window will not listen or mark any modifications on your order, insists he’s got it, and then it will be wrong. Also he will purposely push your order to be delayed if you ask him any follow up questions. I ordered a falafel wrap with no tzatziki sauce bc I can’t have dairy and he refused to mark that on the order even after I asked about it being marked down to ensure it would be made right. Then my friend ordered after me and 20 mins later, she got her food (also wrong, it had hot sauce when she asked for none), so i went up to check on the status of mine. The guy saw me walk up and then turned around to the cook and asked for a falafel wrap with no tahini. I told him I heard him just tell the cook to start my order and he said it’s busy and they are just getting to my order. Then they said they are out of half of the rest of the stuff i ordered. Then the rest of my stuff along with my wrap came out… And my wrap had tzatziki sauce. Which he ensured me multiple times it wouldn’t. I couldn’t wait and ask him to fix it any more at that point....

Dear Halal Time, I discovered you while doing food deliveries and had to go back a few times for multiple order pickups. ( Someones popular!) Around 3:30 AM I was getting pretty hungry working late night ridesharing and decided to drive down 7th and see if yall are still open. Sure enough your neon was on and you were pretty much waiting for me to make an order. You had it out in no time handed it directly to me all warm and wrapped in foil. I got your Lamb wrap and I just gotta say... I think you and I are going to be friends! The lamb was cut thick amazing with perfect little cripy edges on it. Big chuncks of cucumber pefectly slathered with your homemade sauce. And topped with im guessing homemade pickles as well. Which by the way I want a jar of those too. (I would have posted a pic but I ate it all before I could think of it) Anway, It was perfect! You will definitely be seeing me again. I'm 100% sure of it. Thank you for being...

BEST LAMB GYRO IN AUSTIN. I've been to dozens of places in Austin and have determined that this place dishes out the best gyro around. While there is some good competition, I still think this place is the best. The Lamb within the gyro has nice crispy edges. The taziki sauce is spot on and they put the perfect amount of hot sauce on there to spice it up just a little bit. They even toss in these special marinated pickles which give the gyro its own special taste

Great food truck located directly across from Hotel Vegas. They serve your typical Mediterranean fast food items such as lamb, chicken, and beef shawarma wraps. They also serve these meats over rice, and have smaller items like dollmah, falafel, and hummus. They’re open really late too. All around great, quick, affordable comfort food. They’re pickles are insane by the way! Highly unusual and very tangy-tasty.
