Serendipity — Local services in Bar Harbor

I visited Serendipity at the end of October. Granted, after walking around town all day, I probably didn't look my best. But the silver-haired woman at the counter was condescending, to the extent that she rudely asked me upon entering " You do know what a bag sale is, don't you?" They have a small assortment of items to buy and support the local community. The “silver haired lady” at the front desk who other reviewers thought was rude is actually very nice and accommodating.
