Royal Lavender Nails & Head Spa — Local services in Bellevue

I chose the combo package of head spa package 3 and “ice dancer “ mani pedi. This was my first time and I was very excited to see Asian head spas finally coming to Seattle after seeing them popular in CA.

The head spa was nice although not quite relaxing and luxurious as I had hoped for. The lady who did mine was very nice and helpful but there is of course the language barrier . I had hoped for a very soothing experience but the massage was very hard making me feel a bit otherwise . I was constantly worried the pressure would make me loose whatever little hair I have on my scalp 😀.She reduced the pressure a bit when I requested to ,but then 75 minutes on a plain massage bench did a number on my back . For such lengthy treatments you really need a cushioned and arched bed with heavy blankets . Since it’s summer I didn’t mind the thin blanket but it doesn’t give that cozy feel . All in all I would have loved if the whole process was slow and relaxing with long stroke massages , comfortable bed and more time with the 2 props they used to massage .Those were only for about a minute each .

Finally blow dry is just blow dry and your hair will be dried but no comb will be used to give any kind of style . This was unclear but I didn’t hugely mind that since my hair got dried anyway . But if you have thick long hair , or curly frizzy - expect to be not fully dried and styled . Price for 90 mins (90 mins is including blow dry ) was $120 .All in all I would give the head spa experience 7/10.

Mani pedi for the combo price was $75 and I believe it’s even more individually . This was the most dissappointing part for me because the names Ice dancer and fire walker along with the details on the website gave me this mental picture of a super relaxing ,special massage oriented process with special tools and icy balms- atleast something that would make it stand out from usual mani pedi . All the salons in my area have paraffin wax , hot stones and hot towels as part of the regular delux pedicure pack (about $40-$45)so this was nothing special to be expected . But to my surprise this was exactly what this special mani pedi was . Usual cleaning , grating the dead skin , scrub , paraffin dip and massage with a moisturizer ( didn’t feel anything icy) and a lousy massage of 2 minutes . I was so surprised and even though I am usually hesitant to confront , I had to ask for some extra massage since I was so sore after a hike the previous day . She was nice about it and did couple more minutes of massage . Then hot towel and paint the nails . Same for mani as well . Mani job didn’t come out that great either with colors outside the nails etc . I was especially dissappointed by this mani pedi and maybe it’s on me that I fell for the fancy words on the card . hence sharing this so that everyone is aware . I drove 45 minutes for this, took off from work and spend hours of my time and $$$ so I had hoped for a 5 * experience .

They all are very nice ladies and quite sweet but I really hope they can take the constructive criticisms to...

I had to call when booking at appointment since I scheduled 3 months out. If you are looking to book within 3 months, you can easily schedule online via their website.

They sent a confirmation text once I was all booked. They sent a reminder text on the day of the service as a last touch. I booked the Head Spa Package 3 which includes an essential oil massage, facial cleansing, scalp care, hair care, hot stone massage, facial massage, sheet face mask, arms and hands massage, and hot towels.

There is usually street parking available but on this specific day of our appointment, it was being used as a bus stop so they called me ahead of our appointment to let us know and offered to reimburse us if we parked across the street (paid parking). I appreciated the heads up since finding parking usually gives me so much anxiety.

They suggested coming 5-10 earlier so we can fill out paperwork and they can prep us for our appt. As soon as we arrived, filled out our paperwork, they led us to the back to get started.

They had soothing music playing, the lighting set the mood (I LOVE!), and there were curtains to provide separation.

They have a covering for you to change into (you can keep your bottoms on, just remove your top). They have a pad to support your knees, and a feet warmer to keep your feet nice and toasty through the appt. Before they start anything, they drape a blanket on top of you so you don't feel exposed with just a covering on. OH! Remove all accessories like watches and rings - it helps the massage portion go smoothly.

My appointment went sooooo good! It was so relaxing since a regular massage doesn't necessarily focus on arms, hands, and head - it was a nice change. This was my second visit to a head spa & I highly, highly recommend it!

Once we were done with the Head Spa portion, they give you a complimentary standard blow dry - love this so I am not leaving with wet hair!

All in all, the price for what was provided in Package 3 was 100 percent worth it! Next time I am back in town, I will...

My family and I had a great experience at Royal Lavender nails. We called a day before and were able to make our reservation really easily for 3 people. When we entered the location the next day we were welcomed right away with smiles. Their check in systems is really simple to do, they will offer drinks as well if you are waiting. My mom was the first to get her Smoothing Combo with Ly she was very careful and super friendly. My mom and her had a great conversation:) My sister was able to do a full set with Gel with Dara. In the middle my sister wanted to switch over to a French style and Dara was understanding and said it was no problem they turned out beautifully. I chose to do my Gel X Set + Nail Art with Jenny because I saw her artwork before and I loved the artwork she did my design. I know it was a more difficult design and I was so happy that she was able to bring my inspiration to life. I was a bit nit picky when I wanted to add more pink to my nails but Jenny was also very understanding and kindly, added the pink with no problem. All 3 of our services were done very careful and considerately and the price was just right.The interior of this location was so pretty and had a great environment any member would walk by and give you a smile if you made eye contact with them. They were also very accommodating with my family and I they were allowing to sit next to each other and or allowing us to use a chair to put down our spots when we couldn’t hold on to it. They also had a tv with other services they offer which was a great marketing idea because I now have so many ideas of what services I would love to try. My family and I are already planning our next visit:) We highly recommend this nail spa! We would give a higher rating if we could thank you so much for the lovely experience everyone.
