The building has definitely gone down hill. When I moved in over 5 years ago it was quiet, friendly, clean and efficient. Since just before COVID it's a whole new place. The maintenance crew changed and this group often just closes requests without showing. The office changed online billing and for 2 months I had to keep resending my check in the mail because I wasn't activated online, couldn't activate myself for payment, phone payments have a charge, because tthey lost 3 - that's right 3 checks from the bank over may to the first week of june (thank goodness for proof of payment for bill pay). The upstairs neighbors move furniture and vacuum at 2-4 am weekdays and 6-8 drag furniture and vacuum weekend mornings before hammering. They also have an off balance washer nobody will fix and they move furniture at least daily while dribbling a basketball or kicking a soccer ball (haven't figured out which yet)- no matter how many times I've asked for just a day or night with some quiet during quiet hours. (Instead I get a hotel for a night without the banging or midnight vacuuming) Packages in the package room are found open or just as empty boxes lately. The Amazon locker with packages that are secure works 2/3 the time The garage no longer closes The door is regularly propped open and my neighbors have called in multiple break in attempts I haven't seen anything beyond the main door cleaned by the lawn care team in over a year The neighbors throw their smokes down on my veranda and on the plants for me to clean up Oh this is the most friendly part, the racist neighbor lady told me my nieces aren't allowed to not play out in the courtyard... She then followed us back to my place telling the girls over and over, leaving them sacred to leave my apartment while they visited. Just sad how somewhere I loved...
   Read more2025 Our refrigerator issue had been ongoing for a while, and it wasnât getting any better. I reached out to Jennifer from the office, and she truly listened, understood our concerns, and immediately arranged help, even bringing in support from another location.
When Jeff arrived, he was both professional and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a solution on the spot. Thanks to him, we no longer have to worry about unexpected surprises every time we open the fridge.
Weâre incredibly thankful to Jennifer for her persistence and dedication in resolving resident problem. With her consistent support, the problem was finally taken care of today. Her reliability and care for the Avalon Bellevue resident community, whether itâs a big issue or a small one, truly stand out.

   Read moreMy experience at Avalon was extremely disappointing. We had a scheduled appointment for a 2-bedroom unit, and Jennifer from the front office was initially polite, directing us to check out the studio apartments and encouraging us to apply for the 2-bedroom unit. However, after we communicated with the office via email and submitted our application, things quickly went downhill.
When I visited the office the next working day, Jennifer literally yelled at me, mistreated me, and pressured us to commit to a property by August 23, claiming it would become more expensive and that there were other applications on the unit.
When I requested to see the unit, Jennifer told me there was a tenant currently occupying it. However, when I mentioned that I had received an email from the office confirming a showing, she suddenly changed her statement. This inconsistency was yet another red flag.
We decided not to proceed, and Iâm glad we didnât. It became clear that we were lucky to avoid what felt like a scam. Despite her previous claims, the apartment rent was later reduced, and they were suddenly ready to give possession on August 30, as listed on their website.
When we requested reconsideration, Jennifer was very rude to me. To top it off, I noticed that they are now running a special offer of $1,000 off, which was previously only $500. Iâm grateful we avoided the scam and poor management at Avalon.
