I called the store to check if they had a pair of loafers in stock and spoke with Armani. He said he would check and reach out to me, but after waiting and not hearing back, I had to call again to follow up. Another associate had to prompt him to respond to me. Armani told me they had the loafers, so I was prepared to purchase them.
Then he said they didn’t have the size I needed but had a size 45, which was too large, and mentioned they were available at the New York location. I asked if I could order them through the store, but they refused to do that.
On top of this, they wouldn’t honor the price originally advertised and tried to charge me almost double. When I asked for the advertised price, they refused. I also asked to be transferred to another associate or manager, but Armani wouldn’t do that either. Eventually, he said they didn’t have the loafers at all, which means he wasted my time and misled me about their availability in the first place.
