Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel — Hotel in Beverly Hills

My husband and I were looking for a long weekend vacation destination to a place we had never been before, and we chose Los Angeles. Our stay at Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel could not have been more perfect. This boutique hotel is located on Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills, and is centrally located between Hollywood and the beaches. The area is beautiful, colorful, elegant, fun, clean and safe. The hotel itself is quaint, intimate, clean, well-serviced, and reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfasts and evening hors d'oeuvres were delicious. The evening happy hours were delightful and offered the opportunity to mingle with other guests in the bar area, on the second floor open-air courtyard, and in the covered outdoor seating area facing Rodeo Drive. We recently booked to stay at the Luxe Hotel and were incredibly disappointed with the subpar service throughout our stay and rude staff at the check-in desk.

We were unimpressed with how dismissive and uninformative the employee checking us in was, as he OVERCHARGED us and failed to inform us that there was a discounted resort fee for those under 21 as many of the Luxe Club amenities are only available to adults (despite checking both our IDs upon check-in).

Moreover, he failed to mention that complimentary breakfast and soft drinks were available to us -- information that neither of us were aware of throughout our stay, and was unbelievably dismissive and rude to us during our check-out.

Complaints via email were completely ignored, which just adds insult to the shocking standard of service offered at the Luxe. Avoid...

We originally booked at the Sunset Blvd Luxe location. They had system issues and were overbooked. They handled this beautifully. They set us up at the Rodeo Dr. location for free. Plus, they paid for our valet parking. That’s great customer service!

Everyone was so courteous and helpful. They kept apologizing even after giving us a free room. I think I really came out on top here. No need to apologize. :)

The room was very comfortable. It was clean. Not newish, but clean. The bed was perfect. The pillows were very nice. I could open the window to let in fresh air. It was quiet. The AC was loud. I just set the fan to run all the time which provided a nice white noise, so that was actually nice.
