Menchie's Frozen Yogurt — Local services in Bloomingdale

I love Menchies, but I did not love this Menchies. We only visited here because our Menchies was closed for renovations. To summarize, my 9 yo nephew said, "Food = delicious. Service and inside = garbage."

This Menchies was visibly dirty, in addition to sticky counters, chairs, bathrooms, and floors (see the picture). The employee we dealt with was sullen and not welcoming.

There were aggressive signs about no tasting, no online coupons, and being asked to leave (see the picture). There were only two tables and a bench inside, so most people stood up while eating. My out-of-town friends (who also love Menchies!) did not enjoy this experience.

However, there were some positives. I love the concept, flavors, and the toppings of Menchies, in general. There was also extensive outdoor seating, weather permitting.

Based upon the lack of cleanliness, the negative signs, the lack of indoor seating, and the employees' attitudes, I cannot recommend this Menchies. I would advise you to drive to a different location, even if it's far away, to enjoy this delicious...

Very unfortunate event with one of the employees. My sister and I had put mochee in our bowl and noticed it didn't look good so we picked it from our bowl and tried it, at which time the employee snapped at us with an aggressive tone with "Can you stop!" My sister and I were caught off guard since we did not know that rule was in place. Regardless, we did not appreciate being spoken to in a belittling tone. Following that comment, she turns to another girl who did not appear to be an employee and said "what, like they couldn't hear me the first time?". After this incident occurred, she rang us up without telling me our total and demanded "cash or card". We were utterly appalled with her tone and attitude and unwelcoming nature. Will not...

I love Menchie's HOWEVER, I went there tonight and the place was absolutely disgusting!!!! The floors were so sticky and visually dirty with spots of dried stickiness now covered in dirt- obviously not mopped up in hours. The fro yo dispensers had piles of fro yo underneath them melting away and dripping everywhere!! Multiple topping bins were either missing or empty. There were NO Reese's!!!! 8 people in line and not one employee in sight. Then the employee slowly emerged from the back. Are you serious??? Out. Of. Control. This is the dirtiest Menchies I have ever been to. I hope next time it is not so gross. If I didn't love Menchies so much I would have given fewer stars.
