I think this might be the first two star review I’ve given. I went into the store to get a Big Gulp which is a regular indulgence for me. The store wasn’t too busy, but messy both inside & out. They only gave lids behind the counter so I got in line with my uncovered beverage. When I got to the counter the clerk handed me a lid. I think it’s an anti-theft thing.

The whole checkout process was messed up. I have the 7-Eleven wallet and was trying to use my points for a free Gulp. The clerk did not allow me to enter my phone number. Also, the Gulp rang up to $3.84 which I knew was wrong. The clerk said that’s the price. I kept showing him the App bar code because I wanted to pay with the Wallet. He finally rang it up and later I found out why he was reluctant.

When I got back to the hotel I looked at the transaction and the cup rang up as something different than a Big Gulp. Basically cheated me from the product I chose. Since I had the electronic transaction receipt there was proof. I’ve never had this happen at a 7-Eleven in my life and I’m old, LOL.

The store should know this because of two things. First, I was staying across the street for two weeks and they got one purchase from me. I never went back because of this issue so think of all the sales missed because I bought a lot of groceries and such from other stores. Second, I logged this issue with 7-Eleven corporate and they made me whole so I was not out anything dispute the clerk / store.

I hope this review helps others. The old adage ā€˜buyer beware’ goes...

Extremely rude and unpleasant experience with the employee named "Bob", an elderly asian man.

My family and I were grabbing a quick snack and decided to get some drinks, which led to a small spill (5 drops?) on the floor. The elderly man went past us to the juice station to clean it with his mop, clearly (and violently) shaking his head to indicate his displeasure. He comes to the counter, still visibly upset, and talks inaudibly while pointing at our shakes. We then asked to break a hundred since we would've liked some change but he then begins to scream at us saying he can't do it. He then continues yelling at us to keep the drinks down and that we should just leave. We then try to tell him that this isn't how customers should be treated all while he continues to take his mop and scrub the already clean floors. He then keeps yelling that he won't take the hundred, which we weren't even talking about anymore.

I recommend getting your shopping done from a different store since this isn't the first time customers have been treated severely poorly in this manner, which is truly unfortunate since 7-eleven clearly does not care enough.

Edit: Another reviewer stated that they do not understand the "unwarranted" hate. While totally understandable, one good experience does not translate the same for everyone else. Negative reviews are being posted because something is inherently wrong with how this 7-Eleven clerk operates. He is running a business, not taking care of his...

Exceptionally rude Asian Manger there, always salty yelling or insulting to people. Not just with me but with other customers. This person doesn't represent 7/11 customer service. Sorry if your having a bad day don't be rude to other people its unacceptable and not professional. I wanted a charging cord for my phone and told the manager I had a Samsung phone and if he could help me with a cord. His response was I don't care about your phone. Is it a iPhone or C-Charger! Ummm If I told him it's a Samsung it's not an iPhone! He said next time you come to my store you tell me you want a C-Charger. He gave me a receipt which you can't even read which is pointless to a costumer. It's been this way for weeks. If I could give zero stars I would. Sad thing too was there was a 7/11 down the street that i loved and had great costumer service, very friendly, fresh food all the time and they cloesd not extending there lease. Only 7/11 left on state street now and I'm left with rudeness and stale food.. that I won't buy. 7/11 you can do better then this honestly. Please find a manager who reflects 7/11 standards. The one saving grace for this store is its younger associate clerk who is...

Went in this AM to cash a scratch off ticket. The ticket clearly said void if removed you know where you scratch to reveal the scan bar so they can tell if it’s a winner. The guy in the picture insisted to me that I have to scratch it even if it says void if removed but this will invalidate the ticket. He also made me wait several minutes before he even acknowledged me. He said to me ā€˜you will do this if you want to come into my store. I responded back by telling him that he didn’t get to tell me what I have to do. He did not like that ! He Insisted that I will obey his orders his exact words. I told him to kiss a certain piece of my anatomy and I began to walk out. At this point he removed his face mask and spit in my direction I mean he literally spat on the floor. I am reporting this business to the city of Boston for gross COVID-19 violations. I will also be reporting this to 7-Eleven corporate headquarters. I will also be reporting this incident to the governors office. The person in this picture is dangerous in my opinion.

went to have a fun day at the aquarium and it was the nearest place to get water for my baby and a drink because we can’t bring them in . We walk in and my 5 year old autistic son was yelling because he wanted candy the guy told him to shush I said he’s 5 and autistic and he told me he didn’t care and we needed to leave because I had responded to his rudeness. He called the cops on us because we didn’t leave because he was very rude to me in return and my husband had to intervene . Because of him he lost the other customers in the store when my husband yelled loudly that he was discriminating against my son cuz he was ā€œloudā€ I’m appalled and I’ve never seen anything like it
