Liberty mutual auto insurance underpaid me for my totaled car l, i challenged them and they paid more, and they paid the other driver even though i tried hard to explain, it wasnât my fault. I was the only witness on the scene and was misunderstood. Thats they problem now. Lets come to the point:
I had a freshly issued auto policy when i had another minor accident which was at my fault. They paid a few hundred bucks and gave me some little money that i didnât accept for my car repair as i was paying the highest premium. So they added a little bit. A few days later i had an family emergency that took me to Germany. I called liberty mutual and told them what happened, paid my already issued bill and gave them a debit card to deduct the fees for the next upcoming bill if something came in between and i wouldnât make it back on rime. Thats exactly what happened! I came too late and they didnât charge my card. Instead send me demand letters. When i asked why that card wasnât charged they didnât give a satisfying reason but played stupid! called them and they told me that i was in good standing as they just reversed that month back into my premium and i shouldnât worry, i was good to go. When i pointed on the letters that i receive to make immediate payment, agent advised to just disregard them. Thats the system. My mother kept stressing receiving those petters and I kept telling her to just disregard. At some point when they still came over and over again, i called them again. This time agent told me that the letters were valid and that they was no notice about precious conversation to disregard the letters etc. she said that i had until Friday, September 13, of last yearâŚ. After that my policy would be cancelled. At that point i didnât have much money and couldnât prepare for my extremely high monthly payment because the agent that told me i was good.i had so much to cover due to my emergency travel. I was confused but thought ok ,fine! I still have a few days, Thinking the due date was September 13 i made sure that i had the amount ready on September 13. I called them on that date to make my payment and they told me my policy was cancelled a day before the night from September 12 to September 13 at 12:01. They lied to me over the phone by telling me i have no any other due payments, then mislead me with one of their âlegal scamâ tactic they use when they want to get rid of one of their customers. I tried with BBB arbitration not knowing that l mutual finances BBB. An attorney explained that to me after BBB was on their side. To this date, when i ask them straight forward and clear about the lie i was told over the phone, they just donât address it at all. In so many email ls i asked to listen to the recordings as they have them but receive no answer about the lie at all. I told BBB but they also just say what liberty mutual says which is obvious to me now. Liberty Mutual have money and can get away with illegal acts, contract breaches etc. but the most shocking fact is that Liberty Mutual is its customers worst enemy and still has lot of innocent customers and some of those that involve in any kind of an accident will have a bad awakening when the insurance shows their gangster side! They are behaving not differently than low level, ruthless street gangsters when you dead all the lawsuits of them. Unfortunately i didnât read anything about them before i engaged. Now, i wouldnât even know ensure with them even if they offered my the illegally cancelled policy for free with some additional years. They should have been shut down long time ago but thats my opinion. I need to remember...
   Read moreI have been with Liberty Mutual for over a decade and had the worst experience ever! My storage was broken in 6/23/24, I filed my claim 7/22/24. From the first conversation with the adjuster John Steele, I knew he was gonna be a problem. He refused to answer questions and it got worse...he doesn't know how to use email. This man sent my storage company an email with no introduction, nothing about my policy...he just forwarded his contact information. From there I requested his supervisor whose name is Bryce Buckley. Lord have mercy, he was just as bad. He gave me the usual, "we're doing everything we can" and " no worries, we'll take care of you" after I told him I never want to deal with John ever again. He reassured me he'll handle my claim quickly. Guess what, I submitted all documents per their email only for him to tell me to use the app. Once I returned from vacation and after making it very clear verbally to Bryce and a representative who answered the phone that I never want to deal with John, I have a voicemail and email from John yet again smh. I submitted my documents 10/26/24 through the app and emailed them directly to Bryce Buckley and guess what...nothing!!! Nothing for 90 full days. I called to file a complaint againt John and Bryce through the Presidential Service Team (PST) on 1/27/25. My claim was finally moved to a wonderful adjuster named Breonna Griffin who completed my claim in 3 business days. The Consumer Affairs Specialist II named Anthony Duty who took my complaint had the audacity to regurgitate what Breonna Griffin did on my claim and then tell me, "if you should have further questions or need assistance on your claim, please contact adjuster Brianna Griffin to further review the matter and gives her contact information... Or Team Manager Bryce Buckley." Now why would anyone direct me to contact the same person who did absolutely nothing on my claim for 90 days???? The same person who continued to allow John to call and email me after I said I never wanted to deal with him? Bryce should be terminated from his Team Manager position because he failed me big time. I hope Liberty Mutual has access to Bryce and John's emails and call logs recordings to see just how ridiculous they're behavior was. I'll quote my 10/26/24 email...

Upon returning from my trip, I received an email and a voicemail from John Steele after I said multiple times that I wanted no further contact from him. As promised, I will move forward with my complaint to Liberty Mutual's corporate office as his behavior at this point is harassing. As his supervisor, you too are allowing it and that deserves Liberty Mutual's corporate's attention.
Should I suspect any retaliation on your end, I will move accordingly.

   Read moreOn April 10, 2024 Louisiana had a bad storm leaving New Orleans, Westbank, Slidell, and some of the interstate flooded. I forgot to mention a tornado damaging Slidell, La. The type of job I do is floating to any areas. My supervisor schedule me to work in Slidell, LA for the week of April 8-12. As of thinking everything was going to be a regular day at work. The change that quickly for us. It storm so bad to the point lights with out, power lines were down as well as trees. Many people businesses and homes was destroy. I was involved in the flooded lucky of me my car didnât have any water damage inside my vehicle due to me waiting until the storm stop and also where my car was parked was on higher ground. But I did ended up driving into flooded water due to every side street and Main Streets having bad flooded water. I ended up getting stuck and someone help me get out the water by pushing my vehicle. I was told by the guy that was helping me to hit on the gas. So I did not thinking it could damage my engine. Once I was able to get in the clears I called a relative to come tow my vehicle for me. On the next day I got my vehicle tow to Infiniti of Baton Rouge for service. They wasnât able to check my vehicle that day so they put it on the machine the next day (April 12) I received saying to called my insurance and put in a claim due to having water in the air filters, engine, coolant system and many other things. I called Liberty Manual to put in my claim. Everything was going smooth after a few days done passed. I started to questions what was going on?! I called the dealership asking did they come yet. Which they didnât and I even called the claim department a few times. Always a run around you donât speak to people that you need to speak with directly. I know this story is long but they made a decision saying that my flooded claim was denied due to their thrid party saying that they didnât have any water damage in the inside of the vehicle even doe Infiniti of Baton Rouge showing proof itâs in the engine and many areas. Plus they lied and said someone came to the dealership to inspection on my vehicle. When I talk to the dealership many of times and was told they NEVER CAME. To find out the person who was âsupposed to be goingâ already know the service advisor name due to when I first put in my claim the dealership told them to ask for this individual when approval. Now I am in the process of speaking with the Department of Louisiana Insurance and I been talking to there Presidential team.
