This happened to my mom today, and I’m outraged. She went in to use the warranty on her defective purse, and they were hesitant to help her. When they finally did help her, they gave her a paper bag to put her belongings in instead of just replacing the purse. Someone else wrote a review on Facebook that they went in to use the warranty and they gave her a brand new purse. Very unfair treatment! My mom tells her story below: “ I bought a purse in May and they put me in the system telling me about the warranty. Well today, I took my defective purse into the outlet store where they proceeded to tell me they didn’t have me in the system so without the receipt they couldn’t help me. I had the receipt at home but not with me because I didn’t know I would get to go by the store today. Anyway, I looked the purchase up on my card, went back in to the store, where they still didn’t seem too eager to help me, but did. Long story short, I put my belongings in a brown paper bag and left my purse for them to send off and would take 6-8 weeks. So you go in and purchase an expensive purse 6 months ago, quality is bad, and then leave the store with a brown paper bag as your purse. Then I come home and my sister shows me the post where the lady bought her purse in July, had the bottom peeling off and they gave her a brand new purse. I just didn’t have a great experience there today and have to be honest, I probably won’t purchase another purse from them, and my sister that purchased the same day as me most likely won’t either. Read moreI have been carrying Coach for approximately 15 years and my newest piece, which I have carried four times, has a peeling on one of the tabs. I took it in to the store where I bought it just a few weeks ago and was told “they” handle this type of warranty through repair work. The manager also told me there were other areas of west in the bag. There are not other work areas. They gave me a paper bag to carry all my contents out of the store…after they made me wait for the manager to come back to the counter. I commented I was on vacation and had no purse. I was not offered a manager discount for another product or any incentive to help with this situation. When I voiced I was dissatisfied the manager smiled. That’s it for me! Read moreI am writing this review mostly because of something I witnessed today here in Branson. There was a lady there spending a large amount of money, and her card declined. The lady asked her to do it again, because she had to call the bank because it was a large purchase, and the worker told her that she couldn’t, but then said that she could send the items to her house. It just absolutely made NO SENSE. Not only that, I felt as though I was being followed around the store. So after I saw what all was going on in this store, I left and went next door to TOREY Burch and bought a beautiful purse for $300. The whole staff in coach needs to be replaced.
