This store doesn't stand behind their products. I have had bad luck with a few items in this store. I bought a drone for my husband for his birthday in April, as well as two swimming pools. When my husband opened the drone, it was missing parts, the charging cord, and a fan for the propeller, but the tag did not say used. We took it back. And exchanged it. The second done had a seized rotar in the motor. Again tag did not say it was used. We gave up on the drone, returned it for our money back. The swimming pools I gave to my kids for Easter. It is finally warm enough outside to play with them, but when we opened the pools, it was very evident that they were used, once again the tags, did not say used. The first pool had holes in it, wouldn't hold air, and was missing parts that were supposed to be included. The second pool was filthy! Covered in dirt, and grass! Like it had been put back in the box wet! It also had holes, and would not hold air. I did not have the original receipt, because I had bought these in April, and it is now June, so I called and asked if I could return them, they said if I didn't have the receipt, I would only be able to get store credit. I then explained the situation surrounding why I was returning them, and they said oh yeah, we should be able to get you a return with your money back. When I took them into the store, they would not even try to get me my money back, said that store credit was all I could get. So I took that, very unhappily. This store was such a bargain in the beginning.. it now is selling a lot more things that are more than buying from the normal grocery store. The quality in products have definitely gone down yet the prices get higher. If you're selling expired or grocery rejects it's should be WAYYYY cheaper.A lot more of crumbled and open packages in the banana boxes. A lot of junk food that's spicy/completely unhealthy and a lot less variety of things. A LOT of expired food that definitely is not ok past the expiration date.. turns into a chemical smell and taste in bag, cookies from Halloween, my household has gotten food poisoning 3 times in the past 2 months from food from here. Our last trip from here we bought 50 dollars in groceries and threw away 30 bucks of it cause when we opened the packages they were stale and the chemical smell was almost as bad as a skunk. We're supposed to be saving money feels like we're just wasting it now. Also it's super annoying that you guys post products on Facebook of items available RIGHT NOW that are available in your store, yet when I get down there, maybe 30 minutes after your post, none of the products are even at your store and have been gone for 2 days. Last week I was literally standing in your freezer isle looking on Facebook at a post you posted 13 minutes ago and not one of those products were even on the freezer shelves. I am always looking for a good deal and this store does have some amazing deals. It also makes me happy to see a store that can provide cheaper food products for the community. It’s like going to a Goodwill store, you may or may not find something you like, and you may or may not like the price. Some of their products are at or way close to the original product price you’d pay at the original store. As an example: the Costco fuzzy blankets that go on sale near Christmas were $1 cheaper than you’d pay at Costco. I also found some brand name leggings there but they wanted $60 for them, so not really a deal. They get expired or returned items from other stores. I say to each their own on whether your okay buying expired food. But either way, I’m glad the community has that option. I bought two packs of Duracell flashlights, that normally go for $10-15 at Costco. I paid $11.99, the batteries were all missing, and one pack had no working flashlights. Their customer service desk did give me a full refund though on the pack that didn’t work. The sticker only said damaged packaging so maybe that’s why they refunded me so easily.
