Larry is a stellar teacher and very funny!

I don't know why, but I get nervous before I do any sort of excursion. Spending time with a stranger for a lesson can be awkward, but that was not the case. Larry was immediately easy to get along with, super friendly, and very knowledgable.

He's definitely experienced, so you know you're getting a TRUE lesson. For only my third time surfing, I feel like I got some great waves in Waikiki!! 100% recommend, especially for beginners.

Also, the videos he grabbed are amazing.

Recommend booking for an early time (7AM if you can) so it's not as crowded on the water. Also the waves are meant to be...

When I was a rookie buying my surf board the staff was wonderful... Begging me to buy a long board but due to traveling to and from queens on LIRR long board was not an option... The staff took my dilemma into consideration and helped me find the right board and while they were urging I get at least an 8 foot I settled on a 7 foot they convinced me to get the extra 2 inches so I bought an NSP 7-2 fun board.... That was 4 years ago now going to buy a fish board soon and this place is the spot I will shop hands down... Very knowledgeable.. so ya rookies not sure what to get.. these cats know...

Planned to buy a board bag and buy a couple of bathing suits for a trip but before trying on asked if I could use their bathroom and told me they don’t offer it to the public. You expect me to spend 100s of dollars at your store and not offer me a bathroom. You tell me to walk a block to Starbucks. 😳That’s terrible customer service. Heading down the block...
