Wayne's Boot Shop — Local services in Cody

I visited Cody, WY early September this year. This boot shop did not just have boots but several other items such as Purses, wallets, etc. All nice quality and unique. I found just the purse, however they had sold the matching wallet. I needed a certain type of purse and wallet to meet my needs. Kinsey came out from the back and helped me. (she is not normally in the store) I asked questions about the purse I had in mind. She said I'll be right back, and she came back with HER purse. The exact purse with the matching wallet. She showed me inside her purse and how she had everything set up, which was exactly what I needed. I bought the purse. Kinsey said she would order the matching wallet and ship it to me. The store called when it came it, I purchased it over the phone, and they shipped it to me. It was perfect and quick. The folks at the shop, all the folks were helpful, and kind. Great place to get a pair of boots. I love my new Danners. In addition, our sales guy was awesome. Check this out: after chatting with him about boots, we got on the subject of restaurants in Cody. He made a recommendation and we said we would go there for dinner. So we left the store and headed to the restaurant. It was a few blocks away down a different street. As we opened the door to go into the restaurant, the sales guy breathlessly ran up to us holding a bag that we had left at the boot shop from a different store. He had remembered where we had said we were going for dinner and had ran all the way to the restaurant to deliver our forgotten package. Who does that these days?!...

Went to get boots repaired and while there found the silk bandanas like cowboys wear. It is exactly what my husband wants but now he does not know I have it and won't till his birthday in March because Wayne's staff did a great job of keeping it a secret. Update : he got it today and was very pleased and surprised that I had located one in town. Update :Big Horn Boot and Shoe Repair in the back of the store has had my boots for close to 3 months and they have not yet been fixed.
