Deplorable customer service! Will never enter their store again! On August 10, we purchased over $3,000 in furniture from Rachel McClure in College Station. Delivery was scheduled for August 30 between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. After missing their 4:30 pm deadline, I called the listed number and was told they were delayed and will be there at 5:15 pm. The delivery truck arrived at 6:10 pm! Because of their botched delivery, my wife & I missed attending the funeral wake of a friend. Even though the truck came out of College Station, Haverty's refused to reschedule the delivery for the next day - EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR FAULT! We had overnight guests and needed the bed. Eddie from Haverty's customer service was very unsympathetic and said he would only discount my $150 delivery fee by $75. Not only did Eddie not apologize for their incompetence, he obviously didn't care about the incredible inconvenience they caused. I also called our Sales Rep, Rachel McClure, left her a voicemail and she has never returned my call. Why not........she already received the sales commission. We are completely refurnishing our entire home; master bedroom, additional guest bedroom, formal dining room, living room, and patio furniture. Haverty's, because of your grave lack of customer service, you just lost over $20,000!
Side note: We ordered a breakfast nook from Furniture Row and it was delivered exactly when they said it would. Ten minutes before it arrived, I received a call from Furniture Row telling me the truck was 10 minutes out. What a professional way to interact with...

The store itself was fine but we ordered bar stools and when they were ready to be delivered 6 weeks later, we scheduled an afternoon appointment to accommodate the college students class schedules. They assured me that wasnât a problem until the day before delivery I got a text that said 9-11am delivery. I specifically told them after 11:30 to which they said they only had four deliveries that day and canât come after 11:30 but hey they would put us last and it would be 10 probably when they came. After speaking with two customer service managers I got no options. Not even another day. They said they would be there at 10, I said good they can wait from 10 to 11:30 when someone got home. Still no options for a resolution from Haverty. I had to have one of the kids stay home now to accept the delivery during their time frame and when I said hopefully the kid doesnât fail their class as a result the last customer service manager said goodbye and hung up.
