Freebirds World Burrito — Restaurant in College Station

Went to this Freebirds on Texas Ave recently and was very surprised at the state of the place after going in occasionally once or twice a month. The new manager (I don't know her name) seems to be very rude to her staff upfront, and I could see that employees including her were vaping and smoking weed in the back of the store when they weren't even on a break.

I understand if they have medical issues, but doing drugs on the job is unacceptable especially when you need to cook and serve food to tens or hundreds of people a day. I personally do not want someone who is high handling my food and the cleanliness of the store to be high as a kite, and I don't think most people do too!

I would avoid this Freebirds, stick to Chipotle or make a burrito bowl at home because even if you did go to the Freebirds on Texas Ave the portions they carelessly hand out are not worth the...

I placed an order for pick up to eat two hours later when I got home (I live two hrs away). I felt super “high maintenance” when requesting the chips, colds, and warms were all packaged separately. But they knocked it out of the park. Sauces were on the side as well, so nothing got super soggy. Thank you, thank you!

I ordered lime juice, which didn’t come, but I have lime juice at home. So, I’m not mad about it.

I was surprised that shredded cheese cost extra. Maybe it’s cause I got the nachos so queso automatically comes with it & then they up charge for shredded cheese? Also, chips were different that what they used to be, but...

Today I ordered a half bird and basically got a glorified taco. The amount of excess tortilla made the burrito look even bigger than it actually was when in reality the burrito was TINY. For reference, I am 5’1 and have small hands!!! If they actually give the right portion size it’s amazing!!! Need more consistency or you cannot hold a consistent customer base. Customer service was so good that I didn’t notice how tiny it was until I left because I trusted he was putting the right portions. And that in itself made me feel even more swindled, I’m not asking for a monster. I’m asking for A half bird...
