Regrettably, my recent experience at this establishment fell far short of expectations. Upon entering the premises, I immediately noticed some glaring issues that left a lot to be desired. To begin with, the lack of basic amenities was evident as there were no paper towels in the bathroom, which is a basic necessity for any place catering to the public.
The dining area did not fare any better. The tables and chairs were noticeably dirty, with remnants of melted ice cream left unattended, making for an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. Moreover, the staff's lack of enthusiasm in serving and interacting with young patrons seeking ice cream was disheartening. The absence of warm greetings or smiles from the employees only added to the overall sense of disappointment.
Communication with the staff proved challenging as well. I had difficulty discerning whether they spoke English, as their accents and limited responsiveness created confusion. Additionally, it was concerning to observe the gentleman responsible for preparing the food without wearing food safety gloves, raising concerns about the establishment's adherence to health and safety standards.
To compound matters, the ice cream, despite our anticipation, failed to reach us in its intended form. The extreme meltage caused considerable inconvenience, detracting from the pleasure of indulging in the treat.
Furthermore, the interior ambiance left much to be desired. Peeling paint on the walls and an outdated appearance did little to contribute to a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
In summation, my visit to this establishment was a profound disappointment, nowhere close to evoking nostalgic memories of a quintessential ice cream shop from one's childhood. I would strongly advise against spending your hard-earned money here, as the overall experience was disheartening and far from satisfactory. Upon walking up to order, I realize there was a lady complaining about the service and even though she was the one being rude Jenny kept calm and continued to hear her complaints . Monse then took my order and was very professional and nice. She had mentioned that the lady had been previously been rude to her first and I let her know to just ignore those kind of people. Right after that, that’s when I realize that Jenny was crying and Monse kindly asked the lady to leave marbles. Those two ladies were very kind and didn’t deserve people like that. I got in my car, but waited for those customers to leave and went back to marble to make sure Jenny and Monse were fine after that scenario.
