Tecovas — Local services in Columbus

I was excited that a Tecovas store finally opened near our home. Between my Wife and I, we oven a dozen high end boots with 80% being made with exotic skins. When I heard Tecovas was opening in Columbus I Googled what boots, belts, hats, etc. would be available at the store and what services they offered. According to the Tecovas web site for the Easton Town Center store, as well as on the Tecovas Corporate web site, we expected a warm greeting in a high end boot and shoe store, with offers of an adult beverage and offers to clean our boots while we waited. Much to our surprise, when we went into the store for the first time and shopped for approximately 20 minutes, NO ONE GREETED US once, NO ONE OFFERED us a drink and NO ONE offered to clean our boots or to assist us in any way during our entire 20 minutes in the store. There was only two other couples in the entire store. When the one couple was done getting assistance, I walked over to the person I saw helping one couple as the other sales associate appeared disinterested in working or helping us, and asked him about exotic skin belts I was looking for. I knew the correct answer from reading the offerings on the corporate web site, and he was unable to give an answer or offered to look up the answer for us, so we walked out without purchasing anything due to lack of customer service and lack of product knowledge by the sales person. Do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere like Boot Barn or Rod’s Western Wear. It will be a WHOLE LOT BETTER customer service experience than at Tecovas Easton Town Center. I doubt they’ll last very long given their customer NO SERVICE....

Tecovas at Easton has great staff, great products and great customer service. The products are a little pricey, but well worth the money. The staff is wonderful and attentive, doing everything i needed to make my experience great. I was slightly disappointed that they were not able to serve alcohol, as they are still waiting on their liquor license. I completely understood though, as it is not their fault but the states. Everyone who helped me was so knowledgeable of the products and gave me a run down of all the services they provide, like boot cleanings, debossing, and branding. All for free, anytime! I didn’t choose to get my boots branded when i went in, but will definitely bring them back in the future to get it done. They also offer hat measuring and hat shaping. I will definitely make this my regular boot store and can’t wait for new styles...

We made the trip from Northern Michigan to the Tecovas store at Easton Mall on 7/26—and it was so worth it! My mom, sister, and I had the absolute best time. From the moment we walked in, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome. Special shoutout to McKinley and Tony—you both went above and beyond! Your kindness and patience, made our experience unforgettable. You answered all our (many!) boot questions and we truly appreciated the time you spent with us. Even though a Michigan location is opening soon, we just might keep making the trip back to Columbus. That’s how amazing this store and team are! Thank you again for such a fun and memorable...
