We were forced to switch over to the Walgreens pharmacy with our change of insurance we’ve always gone to CVS in imperial Beach and they di a phenomenal job every time we’ve come to CVS for the last eight months we received notification. The medicine is ready. We wait in line usually 20+ minutes because they’re so slow by the time we get up to our turn they have no idea where the medicine is and in this case where I just s waited in line for 20 minutes and then literally waiting at the counter from almost 15 minutes with the girl walked around the room looking over and over for the medicine and not finding it. Finally asked me if I’d stand of to the side not telling me anything about the medicine. I finally say what is the problem and she says well we have to remake it. I tell her the medicine then she finds it They then tell me they can’t give us any of the information without this questionnaire And that after an hour of being in line there and waiting, I now have to leave to go call my doctor or go in and see them. I call my husband who states that he filled out those documents all in the doctors office and that there should not be an issue. This happens every time I come into this Walgreens pharmacy. The customer service is terrible. The people don’t know what they’re doing. They can’t get through a line in a reasonable time and they never have the medicine ready even though they send a text message that it’s ready I highly recommend corporate looking in to how your pharmacy is being run because it’s being done in a terrible way after us working with them for eight months and this happened every...

My fiancé recently had his medication dose increased and has been trying to get this for over a week. Called over a week ago and was told it was “on the pharmacist’s desk” but that it wasn’t covered by insurance. Explained to them it was a dose increase and they said “ok no problem we will have it ready in 45 minutes and call you back when it’s ready.” Never received a phone call. Fast forward to a week later and called them today to ensure it was ready prior to driving to pick it up and was told that it wasn’t. “Give us 10 minutes.” I verified it would be covered by insurance. Now, currently here to pick up the RX TWO HOURS after calling and they said it isn’t ready. “We’ll work on it shortly”. 10 minutes later, was told they lost it and would have to fill it again. Staff was yelling out patients’ personal information and medical details for everyone in the pharmacy to hear. Definitely not HIPAA compliant. Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I asked an employee if I could use the bathrooom the lady with a white sweatshirt said its out of order. While at the check out a man asked where is the bathroom the other lady said upstair! Really I was just told it was out of order!!! The lady that processed the transaction was very polite and accommodating I told her the price online was less. She asked the manager on duty what should she do. He stated that price is only for store pickup.
