I am a long-time supporter of Berkley's Market. Berkley's hands down has the best iced lattes in town. I frequented the Oak Cliff location, as I live near it, from it's opening to closing and was shocked and disappointed when it abruptly closed. The store always seemed busy to me when I visited so I was not expecting that.
I haven't had Berkley's since the Oak Cliff location closed. I don't live near the other locations and I work 9 - 5 as well as most Saturdays, so it is hard to travel to the other locations during normal hours.
This past weekend on Saturday (3/1), I finally had a Saturday morning free and I was willing to travel out of my way to visit the Art District store to finally get the latte I had been craving for months.
I checked online to make sure the store was open and Google and your website indicated it was.
I drove all the way downtown, paid for parking, only to walk up to the store and find that it was closed DESPITE the internet indicating that the store was open. This was at about 10 am. No signage on the door or anything. Just an empty dark store. Very unprofessional and rude.
Needless to say I am not sure why you make it so hard to buy your product but I will have to suck it up and keep searching until I find a new favorite coffee shop. I ended up going to Lala Land and spending more money and morning there.
As a longtime patron I am beyond annoyed to the point where I feel the need to let you know and I will never got out of my way to spend money at another Berkley's...

The first time, my cappuccino was barely warm. When I politely mentioned it, the barista dismissed my concern, saying I had already tasted it and nothing could be done. I was left wonderingâhow else am I supposed to check the temperature without tasting it?
The second time, my cappuccino was overly milky and tasted nothing like a proper cappuccino. When I pointed it out, the barista insisted that because I ordered a 12oz, it was supposed to be like that. As a regular customer, I know thatâs not the case.

I get to the cashier, attempted to look at the menu to see what I wanted. When I told her that I wasn't sure on what I wanted yet, she dismissed me and said she would help the next guest.
