my dfw food review today: mendocino farms in addison tx (multiple locations) 🪣🐄🥣🥪 I’ve been here for lunch multiple times and it never fails me. This is not a small business so i won’t review it in detail. We got the turkey foccacia and chimmy churry ( except lacking chimmy churry). Just think of this as upscale subway haha 🐰🤍✨🪩 #dfwfoodie #thingstododallas #thingstodofortworth #dfw #dallastx #addisontx #sandwiches

Ordered again today for 5 people. Just like the other times everything that was ordered arrived, nothing missing or messed up. Everything was fresh and packaged very good. This time I ordered the Prosciutto & Chicken Ciabatta Panini. It was very good, would definitely order this again. We ordered again from here today to be delivered for 5 people. Everyone received what they ordered, nothing was missing or messed up. Everything arrived fresh and packaged well. This time I ordered the Mendo’s Original Pork Belly Banh Mi with the Spicy curried couscous. It was very good no complaints at all. That’s for the great food and service. We ordered today to be delivered for 4 people, my second time to try. This time I ordered the Chinese Salad. Everything went great, ordering, delivery, packaging, and presentation. The salad was fresh, all ingredients were, and the chicken was tender and not dry. This salad had great taste, I got the miso mustard dressing (even though I only like a little mustard) and was very surprised at how much I liked it. Great job Mendocino farms for a great second experience. By the way, loved the dressing on the side in a little holder! First time to order from here. We had lunch delivered and was excited to try, the menu has some great stuff on it. I ordered the Hot Honey Peach and Prosciutto Sandwich and the Watermelon Street Cart Salad. The sandwich had Italian Prosciutto & sliced peaches with fresh mozzarella, crushed honey roasted almonds, Calabrian chili aioli, hot peach honey, arugula, on a toasted sesame roll. The salad was watermelon, cucumber, jicama, fresh mint, green onion, and chili lime vinaigrette. The flavor was amazing, by far the best sandwich I have had in a while. This place is a definite go to place, a must try.

My first experience with Mendocino farms deserved 5 stars for food, but 2 stars for service. I ordered the pork belly banh mi, arrived at the estimated pickup time...and waited another 20 minutes, along with a number of other customers, as the kitchen was far behind. The sandwich, however, was delicious, with tangy vegetables pairing perfectly with the fatty pork. The bread was warm and excellent, though not traditional for the sandwich. Other experiences have been more mixed. The Thanksgiving sandwich had only one texture: soft, though, it was flavorful enough. The not-so-fried chicken sandwich had a pleasant crunch and was a good sandwich, though perhaps not quite as similar to the real-deal as it makes itself out to be. The turkey-avocado club sandwich was solid, with the sauce providing the needed punch. The vegetarian caprese sandwich was a highlight, with high quality ingredients and a good pesto. The peruvian steak sandwich simply didn't live up to its name and was rather one-note and flavorless, especially without the sauce. The vegan banhi mi was a total disappointment. The sandwich, it turns out, definitely needs the fatty pork to complement the other ingredients. The tofu was prosaic and didn't cut it. The service did, fortunately, improve after the first visit, with the time estimator generally being just about right. Final verdict? These sandwiches are above-average grab-and-go fair. Do they justify the price tag, which is often $3-4 more than comparable restaurants? Depends on the item and your budget. the menu is uneven, but several items were delicious.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE i just received from Dustin? I believe.

Placed a delivery order on doordash for a salad…. DIDN’T RECEIVE MY DRESSING.

Contacted doordash( because duh that’s who i ordered though I’m not slow) doordash gave me partial credit. Enough to order something minimal and cover delivery costs.

Called the restaurant to inform them that THEY……NOT DOORDASH…. INCORRECTLY MADE THE ORDER….and while doordash gave me partial credit for My dressing the restaurant doesn’t have the option to only order DRESSING…..

Asked him if i could order some chips or anything on doordash and could he include my dressing THAT HE DIDN’T INCLUDE THE FIRST TIME in that order so it could be delivered to me and he didn’thave to do anything out the way…..

Flat out said no. doordash made it right. What? How? They made it right by giving me the credit to order it again and have it delivered!!! YOUUUUUU left it off.

“Ma’am don’t yell at me”

Not a single word was yelled. DUSTIN …. Or whatever his name is…… lacks accountability and is so money hungry that he wants double pay for a mistake HE MADE.

Now I’m stuck at school with no food. Because again, who eats a salad with no dressing? I’ll be sure to tell my classmates about my ...
