Terrible Experience - Unfriendly Staff and Unfair Return Policy

I recently had an awful experience at the Anthropologie store in Dania Beach, FL. Despite purchasing items online, I was told by the staff that I couldn’t return anything (brand new with tags within return period) at this location due to their “store policy.” This is incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially when you expect a well-known brand like Anthropologie to have consistent and customer-friendly policies.

To make matters worse, the customer service manager (who also acts as the store manager) was completely unhelpful. She didn’t offer any solutions and didn’t even bother to smile or show any empathy. It felt like she had zero customer service skills and couldn’t care less about my experience.

I’ve shopped with Anthropologie for years, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering my loyalty to this brand. Customer service should be a priority, but clearly, it’s not at this location.

Avoid this store...

The sales associate working around 5 pm to 6 pm about four weeks ago was not very welcoming. I will return to shop in-store to see if I get a different experience. I shop online at expensive stores because the in-store experience is always strange, and many other comments have experienced the same odd vibe. But I will be back soon. I loved my experience at the Aventura location; the staff was pleased to have customers.

Update: I have to say that there has been an improvement. This location listened. I am a delighted customer and will bring some friends to shop with me next time. The store manager, Vicky, was terrific! She and the girls working today will take care of...

Very disappointing experience.. I went the other day as a first time customer I bought a very expensive beautiful pair of shorts but I really loved them.. My girlfriend calls me the next day and says if you sign up for a membership you get 40% off your purchase that I could bring my shorts back ..sounding too good to be true I call because I'm 30 minutes away and ask the gentleman who confirms yes I do get 40% off if I sign up .I drive all the way over there only to be told that no I don't get a discount on my $90 shorts which were too expensive to begin with anyway I won't be back.. and I was going to look for other items.....
