Disappointed with the Lunch Service

I recently visited Tommy Bahama for lunch and unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with their service. Upon receiving our order, we were surprised to find that we had been served Cuban sandwiches that we had not even ordered. When we informed the staff that this was not our order, they took it back from our table. However, to our astonishment, another server brought it back to us within two minutes, seemingly trying to convince us to accept it. This left us confused and frustrated.

We specifically ordered a salad with chicken, requesting that the chicken be served on a separate plate. However, when the salad arrived, the chicken was mixed in with the greens, completely disregarding our instructions. Additionally, we ordered a chicken panini without gruyere cheese, yet the sandwich arrived with gruyere cheese. While I can understand some confusion if the place was crowded, it was a Saturday at 1 PM, and there were barely ten diners in the restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of service and the lack of attention from the staff. It seems that they do not grasp the importance of ensuring every customer is satisfied. The mistakes made with our order, the inconsistent communication, and the failure to follow specific instructions were unacceptable.

As a customer, I believe it is crucial for a restaurant to prioritize customer satisfaction and provide attentive service. Sadly, Tommy Bahama fell short in both regards. I hope they take the necessary steps to improve their service quality and train their staff to pay closer attention to customer requests. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience.

My family was getting ready to take family photos for the first time in 10 years and I need something to wear. I stopped in at the Tommy Bahama store at Dania Pointe.

After browsing for a minute, I was greeted by Cheyenne. She asked me what I was looking for and I showed her a couple of pictures to get some ideas. Within minutes, Cheyenne had me set up and looking like a million dollars. She put together several outfits that perfectly blended perfectly with what the family had said they envisioned for the pictures.

Cheyenne was So extremely helpful and patient with me as I went through her selections. She suggested several options and I ended up purchasing several items for my daily wardrobe too.

As I was getting ready to check out, I was admiring her attention to detail in folding and putting things in the shopping bag. I commented on how much I wish I could fold shirts like she did. Cheyenne asked if I’d like a short, hands on tutorial - I gladly accepted. Within a few moments, Cheyenne had me folding shirts like a seasoned traveler. I can’t thank her enough for that.

The pictures came out great and I received many compliments on my clothes that day. Thank you Cheyenne and Tommy Bahama for helping make the photo session a huge success for me and my family. Great job!

A Memorable Experience

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tommy Bahama Restaurant, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and the attention to detail throughout the afternoon was impressive.

Our table received impeccable service, and I must give special recognition to Stevie, the manager, and her associates, Sam and Oscar. They went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for our satisfaction made us feel incredibly valued as guests.

As for the food, it was absolutely spectacular. Every dish was a delightful blend of flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly presented. From the appetizers to the main course, each bite was a culinary delight. The menu had a great variety, catering to different tastes, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every dish.

In addition to the fantastic food and outstanding service, the ambiance of the restaurant was just right—relaxed yet elegant, making it a perfect place for our luncheon.
