Deadwood was yet another highlight of our summer road trip this year. A great place to visit for anyone who's interested in Western Heritage or history everyone there was extremely helpful the wait staff at the restaurants the docents at the Museum's and the tour guides! Definitely plan on going again.

We parked near the visitor’s center in our motor home to check out the town. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. The town was cool! We did some shopping and enjoyed the visit.

This was our first stop in Deadwood. The information needed to maneuver through the town. Very helpful Attendant, gave us maps and historical reinactment shootout schedules. And restrooms.

We stumbled upon this fun little city and we were so glad we stopped in the Visitor's center. They were so helpful and gave us very great information and a "Past-port" game that the whole family enjoyed. We got stamped on our "Pastports" at each location and returned it at the end of the day back to the Visitor's center for a free deck of cards, and kept the pastport which also made a great souvenir, the kids thought it was better than "Amazing Race." What a clever way to show off your city's attractions!! Good...

Nice place to stop in for info on the town. The host gave us all kind of advice on this to see. She especially highlighted to free shows and the museums that were donation only to jeep it cheapn for families. Her advice was spot on. Full directions, great food suggestions, even a great place to catch a cocktail. Definitely recommend all new visitors to town to stop here and get the low down in whats happening. Even the train depot was built in the mid 1800s and was very interesting to...

A quaint place to check out the history of Deadwood and to get advice on the best places to see while in the town. We received a great deal of information so we could pick the right places to check out with our children. We specifically had questions about entering casinos with children and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it is legal (until 8:30 PM) making some great attractions available to us. Well worth the stop before you...
