Just checked out the brand new Planet 13 in Deland and it’s seriously impressive. The outside sets the tone right away. Clean brickwork, bold signage, and the signature burnt orange awning make it stand out in all the right ways. You know you’re at Planet 13 the second you pull up.

Step inside and the space is clean, modern, and open. Polished floors, bright lighting, and well-placed display cases make it easy to move through. The star of the show is the giant wall mural of an astronaut parachuting down over Earth with a glowing planet behind him. It’s more than a cool backdrop. It locks in the vibe of the brand perfectly. Big, bold, and on theme.

The shopping experience is quick and smooth. The display cases are spaced out and organized so you can actually browse without feeling overwhelmed. Flower, vapes, edibles, merch it’s all laid out with intention and clarity. Everything feels premium but still approachable.

Staff are friendly and know what they’re doing. You can tell this place was built to give people a legit experience, not just to sell product. It feels curated, not cluttered.

Ok so this needs to be said. Brand new location. Selling old old product. I got 6 8ths and every single one was oxidized. Which means it’s been sitting and is old. 4 of the 6 had mold. This is a serious issue. As a medical dispensary these things shouldn’t be happening. Rosin isn’t bad. Staff is nice. But that still doesn’t make this ok. This is a health issue and needs to be investigated. Please I urge anyone that had purchased flower from here in the passed week or so… DO NOT SMOKE THE FLOWER!! I called and told them what was going on. They said sorry and gave me rosin instead. This was my first visit at this location and I don’t think I can go back. Atleast not for flower. I’m a cannabis content creator that’s been doing it since 2009 I opened all of this flower and reviewed it live. BE VERY CAREFUL HERE. STAY SAFE OUT THERE YALL… get this fixed asap planet 13. Been to this location a couple times I’ve been to this soft grand opening and the grand opening official tried to go in there one time to use my reward points to get Indica gummys. The associate at the register said oh I don’t think that includes that so I didn’t get nothing Half of the staff seem like they’re not sure what’s going on or how things work the other half are very well-versed friendly staff very nice showroom.
