First off Iâll say this- I had a very bad experience the first time I went to this location to purchase suit attire for my wedding back in February of 2022. The worst experience- as far as customer service. Iâve never had an employee jump outta character and yell at a customer for a customer complaining about âour serviceâ and trying to inform them at the end of the day regardless customers are right. Keep your personal opinion to that to yourself. The worker yelled, curse and everything else. Then said that she was dealing with a lot as to why she acted the way she did. A memorable event that I looked forwarded to with my husband was not what we got leaving the store that day.
Fast forward to a whole year later I decided to give them another try because first off I didnât wanna drive any further since my husband and I stay in Denton. But I wish we would have after experiencing another bad customer service experience. First off I want to say the initial lady that help us when my husband and I came in over the weekend to purchase another suit for a wedding we are attending out of state next month. She helped and did a fantastic job with picking best, shirt & tie. She also helped with ordering the suit pants and guaranteed us they would be in before September 7. The pants arrive within 2 business days. We went to pick up/try on pants at the location yesterday. Everything was going well until my husband and I went to take a sit while the nice lady hemmed his pants. They was an employee name Tom who was assisting another customer who came into the store. Tom stepped away to go to the back and when he came back, he rush/brushed passed my husband feet while we were sitting and didnât say excuse me or anything. My husband looked at me like â am I tripping or did you notice that as well.â I told him donât say anything letâs see if he does it again. The customer that Tom was assisting his gf/wife was standing up and Tom needed to pass her but this time instead of just rushing/brushing/stepping pass her he politely said âexcuse me maâam do you mind if I pass youâ.
I was automatically annoyed because why couldnât my husband get the same common courtesy. So, Tom had to cross my husband for a second time and do you think for a second Tom said excuse me?? No. So my husband approaches Tom and tells him âwhen you see someone you should say excuse meâ. Tim response was â I didnât see youâ. That immediately offended my husband because how couldnât you see him but you bumped right into him. Instead of him apologizing, Tom proceeds to say âI think you have an issueâ.
Never again will the Denton Mens Warehouse location get a dime of my money. About 2 months back we went to the Lewisville location because we were in the area and we were needing some dress attire for a cruise we have in September as well. The staff there were extremely attentive l, as soon as we stepped foot in the door they great us. Any questions we had they were of assistance to us. They made us feel welcome and valued as a customer the whole time we were there. The staff even told us to stop by after our cruise because they would love to see pictures of how the attire they assisted with came out in pictures . Overall service for them was a 10/10. The Lewisville location would have our...
Read moreEasily the best experience I've had in any Men's Wearhouse. I've been a member for many years and dress clothes aren't my usual go-to, but each time I need something dressy, Men's Wearhouse is my go-to. Today, I went in last minute in need of an outfit for a couple of friends' wedding, and Gabriel, right from the get-go, was picking up what I would think are obvious clues that I like perhaps more outlandish and flamboyant clothing, something with more personality. I'm pretty positive that every time I've ever walked out of one before, I've ended up with just another plain black suit. However, this time, Gabriel asked me a few key questions beyond me stating what my typical fashion tends to lean toward and that I think I wanted something a little more in the realm of olive green. Keep in mind that even though I'm open, I tend to be very very picky, because NOBODY has ever been able to hit the nail on the head when shopping for me (I know there's the potential that I may be surprised at liking something that I've never tried on before, while some things, however, are a solid no). Instantly, Gabriel felt he knew the perfect sport coat and grabbed it. While it was funky, it was not a texture or pattern I might have given a second glance, but he held it up for me to slip into, and instantly, my fiancé and I were both grinning ear-to-ear at one another, confirming that it was the one. From there, it was obvious that he was picking up on what I feel I've tried to get across in the past. He confidently pieced together the rest of the outfit, and I just rolled with it. It was very fun and amusing, and I felt like I was being styled by someone who was going to pick out things that suited my taste without making me look like a clown (unless you think a more punk rock hair cut with an outfit Lee Hazlewood would wear on his album covers does that on its own). He picked everything out, down to my shoes, and out of the entire outfit, I think the undershirt and shoes are by far the furthest from what I would have picked on my own, yet I didn't reject any of his first picks, and I'm thrilled with this whole get-up! This entire day, since I walked out of the store, I've been fighting the urge to put it all back on. Thanks a ton, Gabriel! If this review allowed for more stars, you'd get those, too! I truly can't expect I'll ever have such a great experience as I did today. My fiancé was very impressed, and I'm beyond thankful...
Read moreMy sales lady was fantastic. Helped me find a great-looking suit and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, the tailor did not do a proper job. When marking my suit, I specifically told her about problem areas due to my posture; however, she did not make the necessary alterations, and I had to pay for it to be done again. It didn't help that the young salesman behind the counter scoffed at me with a look of disbelief that with the alterations that were performed, a major problem area that has existed my entire life was a major issue for me. So, I was charged for alterations again. Think twice. Men's Warehouse used to be the go-to place, but there is a reason they went through bankruptcy restructuring.
UPDATE** Went to pick up my suit, not $700 in with the purchase of the suit and tailoring, and the suit was not tailored correctly. tailor was nice, took it in the back to fix it. Different salesman was there, younger gentleman sharply dressed, very polite and helpful. I go back to pick up the suit after the alterations. Still does not look right, but, at this point I will just take it to another tailor.
Now, keep in mind, I just spent $700 on the purchase and tailoring, and they tell me to have a nice day. I am waiting for my suit to be put in a bag. After all, when I take it to the dry cleaners, they put it in a bag. Nope, they are all out. Kind of the cherry on top of a disappointing experience. I spent $700 and Men's Warehouse lost the opportunity to market. Granted, I have spent way more on having suits made from scratch; however, I needed this for a function but missed the date because the tailor had to redo it. A cheap plastic bag would show that the store cares, but it puts the sales staff in a bad position when they do not have them. This should be a stocked item...
