Greysolon Ballroom — Local services in Duluth

I cannot say enough amazing things about the team at Greysolon. Korah was an absolute saint and SO attentive when it came to ALL the little details/emails of meal selections, linens, room setup, gift-check, etc. running up to the day-of. We had about 250ish day-of attendees, so we chose the historical Ballroom venue for the ceremony and reception, which has been recently refreshed to keep the historic charm but also look clean and fresh. The windows facing the lake provide TONs of natural light during the daytime. The ballroom also comes with a getting ready room & grooms suite next to each other on the same hallway and then on the other side there’s the West Wing Lounge + east hallway which had plenty of room for our guests during the ballroom’s room flip (which took 60 minutes). The day-of morning venue coordinator missed on our breakfasts and mimosa station, however the wedding party fixed that behind the scenes quickly so it was barely noticed and we were reimbursed later. Greysolon has in-house catering through Blackwoods; the passed appetizers, plated main course, and dessert were DELICIOUS, they offer so many options of buffet vs plated, veg/vegan/allergy accommodations, and had a group tasting earlier in the spring for the upcoming season’s couples to taste some of their main foods. Overall fabulous experience. They have the experience to get the job done, the go-to venue for a Duluth...

We loved Greysolon!!! They were so communicative and so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process!! We were so excited for a big day, because so often when we told friends and family where our reception was going to be, the first thing that people who were familiar with the venue said was “Oh my goodness! I’ve been to a wedding there! It was so beautiful and the food was so good!”. On the day of they made sure the day went off without a hitch! Due to classic wedding day chaos, our schedule was just a little off and Greysolon was so flexible and wonderful. The space was gorgeous (our wedding photos look straight out of a movie!) and everyone who was working was so kind and helpful. We received so so so many compliments on the food, and how beautiful the ballroom was. I would come back again and again. Also if you can, get the Lavender martini!!! Best signature...

Greysolon Ballroom and its staff are absolutely amazing. We were exploring Duluth as a wedding ceremony and venue option and came across Greysolon.
