I adore Sustainable Goods! It’s one of my favourite shops in Durango! Everything in the shop is made with a lot of thought and care. They have quite a selection of items for the home, like dishes, sheets, and kitchenwares, all made sustainably and beautifully. There is also handmade jewelry, clothing, knitted items, and so much more. Claire, the owner, is delightful as well as knowledgeable about all the items she has chosen to showcase and sell in her store. She has an eye for beauty and it shows when you walk through her store. It’s a perfect place to shop for gift as well as items for yourself. She also carries a delightful array of all natural cosmetics and other skin care essentials. You can also enjoy a coffee and/or a pastry while you shop or while you sit and soak up the calm, friendly atmosphere. I'm so grateful that this little jewel in the Smiley Bldg exists in Durango. Having a shop for purchasing goods that celebrate sustainably-made items while also promoting less waste generation is such a gift, and allows me to make conscious choices in a sea of bad consumer options.

I purchased some reusable sandwich bags there, as well as a beautiful birthday card that contains seeds for planting. I also grabbed a handmade holder for doggie poop bags that attaches right to the leash. Most of the goods in the shop come from local creators and small businesses from around town, which I love.
