I have no experience working with Artesanos Design face to face, but highly recommend you do not utilize them for any online purchase unless you have no desire to know status of your purchase or do not care when you will receive it.

I purchased a Four Hands (I happen to live an hour from the vendor) Modular Desk Dual Bookshelves setup through them which was advertised as in stock and ready to ship for 5k on Jan 4th. I received an email from them that day stating order was placed with vendor and shipped directly from them.

I contacted them on Jan 11th and was told this time order was booked day prior (Jan 10th).

I emailed on Jan 18th to get an updated status and both POC they had provided were out of office but said to email their “frontdesk” email for immediate assistance which I did to attempt to get an update.

I have received no response back. So here I sit, 18 days after paying for and placing an order with them to have been told two separate dates my order with vendor was placed and still have no clue if/when I will ever receive what I paid 5k to them will be provided to me…

If you demand quality custom craftsmanship and customer service, look no further. With a 10 year career in luxury retail as well as a consumer of luxury goods, I can confidently say Artesanos provides a 5 star custom design experience. I modified the Vestal base in dimensions, design, and finish via photoshop and they matched it EXACTLY. Of course, my expectations were properly managed by Kevin, as an exact match in finish is never guaranteed, and depends on what the artisans’ have in supply! Kevin guided me through every single step. Because of my custom adjustments, he suggested that we use a narrower stock than what they usually use to maintain aesthetic and proper proportions. He was completely right! As someone who holds an MFA that specializes in painting and sculpture, I am immensely proud to have this work of art displayed in my home.
