I'd spend more time in eugene shopping and eating out at the various restaurants downtown if it wasn't for the horrendous lack of public restrooms available. Parking downtown is extortion, a quater doesn't even get you enough time on the meter to walk around the block non stop once. Dealing with the parking tickets are not easy either to encourage you to just pay them currency and be done with it.
