Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. Should have turned my. back around the second I entered the store. The associate who measured me burped in my face--that was literally my very first impression of him. He did not introduce himself or EVER throughout the entire encounter ask for my name or ask why I was shopping for a suit (basic rapport questions but also important for finding appropriate styles). This guy was new and had absolutely zero poise or professionalism. He mis-fitted me for shirts: I live 2 hours away from the store but it's the closest one to me; I didn't know until I got home that the shirts didn't fit...even though he assured me they would. That was that just my initial encounter with this store.
In the weeks after, I made multiple follow-up calls regarding my order because it was not ready on time. One associate told me "I /guarantee/ your order will be ready this Thursday; I'll call you when it is." Never got a phone called--he either straight up lied to me/just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. On a subsequent phone call, I was told---AFTER being on hold for 30 minutes---"I'm sorry, I'm helping other customers right now, we'll call you back later." After multiple follow-up calls, I finally spoke to a manager who told me my order was alphabetized incorrectly and that's why no one in the store realized it was ready...Gross incompetence and an enormous inconvenience.
Finally, when I pick up my order, the length of the pants is fine, but nothing else was altered besides the length. They're baggy in the seat and down the legs and the waist is a little too big--again SLOPPY, INACCURATE MEASURING when I was fit.
It was an absolute nightmare dealing with this store and its thoughtless, incompetent employees. You'd think for the price of what they're selling, they would take a little more pride in their work...
Read moreMy first experience should've let me know not to come back. The first experience the customer service was awful. He never once looked at me while I was explaining what I was searching for and asking if I could be measured. He just handed me things and looked off in the distance. Who does that?
My second experience was also poor. I arrived at 10:30 am, which is the opening time their FB page had 2 days prior. It wasn't opening until 11 now. Three other people arrived at the same time too. My best friend is getting married and we were wanting tailored suit pants, nice tailored/fitted dress shirts and bow ties. The associate barely spoke above a whisper and walked us to a rack that had pants but not at all like the pictures we showed him.
I tried on one pair and came out to show my friend. I decided to walk over and get a different cut. Tried those on and while I was standing there an associate went into the dressing room where my pants, shoes, and wallet were located and took the first pair out and hung them back up. Uhh, what if I wanted those?? What if I needed to compare them? It's not like I had 5 pair in there and piling more in the dressing room.
The experience was so off-putting. You walk in with a budget of $600-$700 and you're treated like garbage!
We ended up going to Macy's where a lovely woman walked us through pants, dress shirts, measured us, and let us put the entire outfit on to see it.
I would not...
Read moreSo I went back and forth on posting this but I think it needs said. This location has really gone downhill and I'm really disappointed. Dress shirts are impossible to find because nothing is sized. There's no quick in and out at all and you have to get help looking. It's so bad that when I went in yesterday, there were whole chunks of the slim fit shirts nowhere near where the rest of their shirts were. It's like workers shoved whole stacks of shirts into the wall at random and called it good.
This behavior extends to the whole store too. I can't shop on my own because nothing is sized or organized in a way that makes sense. The workers are at least halfway helpful even if they look sloppy. There's one young guy I've seen who comes in in jeans and a polo. It's crazy to me that this location allows this while their ladies always look put together and sharp. It's gotten so bad, I saw a worker in yesterday wearing sweatpants and a hoodie while putting away stock.
Between the atrocious lack of any obvious care towards a neat and organized store to male associates who look like they just rolled out of bed, my confidence in this location is completely gone. I'll be going out of my way to visit somewhere that cares like Jos A Bank even though the closest is in St Louis now. I'd recommend avoiding this location until the store manager actually does something about the obvious...
