Yesterday we were greeted at Pecan Street Brewing in Johnson City where Alan and Melinda Kirchhoff introduced us to Hye Cider Company’s Cyser for the drive to our first stop at Sandy Road Vineyards. Sandy Road has a awesome treehouse overlooking the vineyard with excellent service and information. Next we stopped at Signor Vineyards to experience a very European tasting experience. Our finally stop was everyone’s favorite, Salvation Spirits Distillery. This is a magnificent speakeasy in the hill country. Their spirits a clean crafted with high quality organic ingredients. They offer an amazing variety of traditional cocktails but ask for off menu creations too. You will not be disappointed.

I took a girl's trip with 3 of my best girl friends to Fredericksburg and we booked the 290 wine tour with Texas Two Step Tours. Isabella was so incredibly helpful and attentive during the booking process and took our intentions for the trip and our preferences into account when choosing which wineries to visit. Alan was our driver and he was absolutely fantastic. So incredibly kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took us to 3 amazing wineries and also stopped at a local shop for peaches and drove us around downtown to show us all the different restaurants and bars we could go to later that evening. The previous day we had a nightmare situation with our Airbnb accommodations and going on this tour with Alan completely turned around the entire trip. We had the BEST experience with Allen at Texas Two Step! My friends and I did the hourly driver service and it worked out perfectly. There were only 3 of us so we were able to hop around to 3 locations in 3 hours! Allen was super flexible with our pickup time in town and helped us decide on a plan when we got in the van.
