I have waited a while to write this review because I wanted to have all the right words. I don’t think I ever will. I am so thankful to Yin and her team. I decided to try acupuncture at the almost year mark of struggling to conceive. I knew at the year point we would probably be back in doctors offices trying all the tests and all the procedures. Whatever they wanted to throw at us. So I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try something natural prior to that, even if all it did was relax me. I had my first acupuncture session on October 13th. It doesn’t hurt at all if that is a concern or hesitation anyone has. I did everything Yin said to do for a month. I drank the teas, went to as many appointments as were instructed and tweaked my diet a little (nothing major though). I found out I was pregnant on November 10th! Which also happened to be a day I had an appointment scheduled. I put my test in a baggie and brought it to show Yin. I thought she would be happy but I also assumed she’d be used to these results by now. She was so excited and gave me a big hug. She’s confident in the work they do. Not in a salesy kind of way. Just pure confidence. And rightfully so if you ask me. Since then I keep the link to their website up on my phone at all times so I can easily send it to anyone who needs it or anyone who knows someone who might want to try. I keep it easily accessible because people really do ask me for the information all the time and I hope it helps them the same way it has for me.
I wish I started here a year ago, but of course everything has a time and place. I recommend Yin’s clinic if you have anything going on that you think acupuncture could help with. Not just fertility struggles, all though I fully endorse...
Read moreDr Yin is a god and I will remember her for the rest of my life. I wanted an unmedicated home birth so so badly but I was right on the cusp of risking out due to high blood pressure. My obgyn had told me they’d probably induce me at 37 weeks. I tried everything humanly possible to bring my BP down and threw acupuncture on the list thinking there’s maybe a 10% chance it’ll do something. During my first meeting with dr yin she said she has a 90% success rate bringing down high BP. I didn’t really believe it but told myself to get super excited and be sure it would work so I could have placebo effect on my side. Except it actually did work! By the third session my BP was lower than prepregnancy and it’s stayed that way throughout. My midwives don’t even know it was almost an issue. Every time they take my BP it’s just fine.
At 31 weeks the baby was breech and I asked dr yin if she could turn him. She put two extra needles in my pinky toes and sure enough, I felt him turn completely around 5min later! I was shocked and she’s was just like “yes, I know it worked”. Like it’s the most normal thing.
I also had an anxious feeling that baby will never come out and she says she can induce labor if I become overdue. I’m not nervous anymore. I’m 100% certain she would be successful if it comes to that.
I cannot recommend her enough. I’ve been to other acupuncturists in the past that I really liked, but this one is an entire different level. You really feel like you’re going to the doctor at each appointment (a magic...
Read moreMy rating is solely based and pointed towards staff and customer service. One specific front desk/office manager(Leah - if I am not wrong with the name) has real issues treating, greeting patients & has unreal expectations from patients. She expects patients to keep track of their treatment cycle numbers that go over the initial agreed treatment course without any gentle and kind reminder or informing them that treatment cycle count is met. Instead, they only ask the customers to pay for all of the extra cycles on last day and inform of the exceeded number same day. Payment is fine but would really appreciate a gentle reminder here and staff to acknowledge it instead of saying that they expect patients to keep track on their own. It is important to note that patients coming here are majorly handling multiple things during the treatment and would appreciate a gentle reminder of their treatment cycles. Also they inadvertently close on some friday’s and expects patients who scheduled on the day to reschedule without giving them any priority and instead chose the next available appointment which can be far away. There is 0% cooperation there. Leah also seems to hold grudge and is agitated if we cannot make it to any scheduled appointment and inform them ahead of time asking to reschedule. The front desk person also never responds to patients(atleast us) greeting and is blatantly very rude. Zero rating for the customer greeting and service here. Otherwise the...
