I had a very disappointing experience with this automotive store. I was referred by a tow company that jumped my truck and said I should go here cause he likes it and told me a bonus that they would help install a new battery. I even called ahead to verify they had the battery I needed and confirmed they would install it. I live far from the store, so I made sure to check before making the trip.
When I arrived, I saw one guy helping a customer and another couple waiting, so I patiently waited my turn. Eventually, another employee came from the back and the other guy was finished with customers and asked how he could help. I mentioned I had called about a battery, and he acknowledged that it must have been the other guy I spoke with. I explained that I had jumped my truck but wasn't sure if the battery was bad, and he offered to test it for me. I thanked him and mentioned that I chose their store over my usual place because they said they would install the battery.
To my surprise, he then said it was a complicated battery and they couldn't install it due to staffing issues. I told him that I had specifically called and was told they would do it. We went inside to look up battery options, and during this, he answered a phone call. I asked the other guy if he was the one I spoke to on the phone, and he confirmed. When I mentioned that he had said they would install it, he asked if it was one of those complicated batteries. The guy on the phone nodded yes. I pointed out that they knew what kind of truck and battery I had before I came in, (2016 Chevy Silverado)but they still said they couldn't install it.
I was frustrated and explained that I had driven a long way based on their assurance. I asked if the issue was due to not having enough staff or because the battery was complicated. I had other items to buy as well, but at this point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. The guy who checked my battery was a skinny, acne, and the other guy I spoke with on the phone was working with him that night, 6/19/2024. This was a complete waste of my time, and I won't...

When asked if they had any o.e.m direct fit flat 4 trailer light kit for a nissan and he told me they where universal. (I had already gone to look at them my self) I replied that they where in fact not. The ones where I spice the wire in my self was universal as it would only need wired into the harness but that o.e.m direct fits where a wireing harness in and of its self that you plug into a plug in the back or between the back lights and there wireing harness. He THEN!!! Say......oh I don't know anything about wireing. And when back to scrolling threw his phone. I then went and grabbed both models and asked Tomas the other rep (who was carrying the whole team) if he knew anything about wireing (a question I did not know i needed to ask befor main questions) and he said some and after talking it out with him got a wire in addition as there system did not show any o.e.m direct fits (something Dominick obviously could not be bothered to do). Will not work with Dominick again. Cant afford to be miss lead just because I did not hand him a asvab first to place his skill sets. Atleast hire new people that want to work because Dominick is not it....
Read moreI paid around $170 an Autometer gauge at O’Reilly's a couple years back. Worked till it went haywire and didn’t. Tried to turn it in for a new one at O’Reilly’s. They looked it up and said,”Wow! You paid a lot of money for that gauge! Nope, it’s out of warranty and we don’t carry it. We could order a new one for you”. My feelings are that I pay that kind of money for a gauge it had better last as long as the ride I put it in. I spent $10 to send it in to Autometer. They called and offered to give me a new one for $99. Autometer Kate told me that if my TV had blinked out I’d have to expect to pay to buy a new one and a gauge should be no different. Well, Kate, I may buy a new something to replace one that inexplicably failed but it won’t be the same brand. I sure wouldn’t end up with $290 in an Autometer gauge. I’ll never end up with any money in another Autometer gauge ever. Given their obviously defective product line, flippant Customer disservice, and the fact that they aren’t reputable enough to have their dealers even stock their product let alone praise you and tell you that you made a wise choice, quite the contrary, I don’t recommend that you spend your money with...
