We had an exceptional experience at the Glenwood Springs Meadows Mattress Firm. We went in at dinnertime on a Friday night. Tessa, Evan and Eddie welcomed us kindly despite our kids who were melting down. Tessa was patient and distracted the kids so we could shop. I was really impressed by Evan’s knowledge about back health, the reason for the shopping visit. He shared all Mattress Firm employees take 100 hours of education prior to even starting on the floor, and was able to recommend mattresses for both me and husband and my son based on our individual sleep styles and problem areas. Despite being interrupted multiple times by our kids, Evan was patient, friendly and willing to spend as much time as needed. We ultimately landed on the perfect mattress, a few upgraded pillows and new mattress for my son. Everything was delivered a few days later, and having slept on it several nights, it was an awesome recommendation. We are so happy! Plus, Evan gave us cool ducks to take home. My wife and I have been on a mattress hunt for weeks, hitting every store from Grand Junction to Glenwood Springs. Once we narrowed down the brand and model, Mattress Firm’s website stood out as the easiest to navigate (seriously, it’s way better than the others). That led us back to the Glenwood Springs location, and more importantly, to Evan. Evan is a total standout. Right away, he made us feel comfortable. Zero pressure, super knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch; it felt like chatting with a friend who just happens to know a lot about sleeping well and someone who wants to hook you up with the best deal possible. We even stuck around after the sale just to keep the convo going, since it turns out we’re around the same age and share a lot of the same interests. He even showed us some of his favorite accessories just to have fun, even though he knew they were out of our price range and that we had no intention of buying them. Evan treated us like people, not just a transaction. He’s got the kind of emotional intelligence and easygoing vibe that makes you WANT to buy from him. I walked in to check out this newer business and their mattress selection as i had heard they carried Nectar and Sleepy brand mattresses . My nearly 90 year old mom needed a better more comfortable bed, and i was wanting to check out the adjustable base options i had read about.Tessa helped me select the right adjustable base for her needs and budget and was lovely to deal with- no hard sell, just trying to steer me to the right product for my Moms needs. They were friendly and knowledgeable and explained their return policies on product- i think it helped that i had looked at my target products and knew general prices so i could get the best deal for the right bed. So know a bit before you go - helps everyone have a better experience! UPDATE!!! Ok folks got an edit… we were supposed to have the bed delivered Saturday… so far no word from the store where i left a message yesterday asking where it was… this is not good… so i’ll reserve my opinion and update my two starting when/if our new bed is actually delivered and set up … i hope i hear from them with a delivery...
