TIP: all of the hotels offer a discount code to book here. It’s better if you wait to book so you can save $$$. It’s a very manual booking system so if you need to change the date/time or anything, this can only be done over email after 2-3 business days. Since we went on a weekend and we got the tickets in advance, there was no way to get a refund or price adjustment. Here’s the promo code if you want to use it: G-GWSNHTL.

In summary: well-maintained hot springs with good amenities relatively close to Denver (3 hours) but disappointing system for booking and overall service was so-so. No one on site was able to help us adjust the time or what we paid for our reservation since we got a discount code from our hotel the day before arrival.

Other things to note: the World Springs area is newer and nicer (no slimy stairs or funky hot springs smells) but it gets more crowded on that side because it’s 21+. They’re also not very good about kicking people out after their time has passed. This wasn’t an issue on a relatively less busy weekend but I can see where it can get crowded because of this.

• The lockers were plentiful and the wristband system for your locker was great.
• There’s plenty of places to refill your water bottle and use the restroom so keeping hydrated was easy.
• The announcements at the top of the hour was good to know when you needed to head out.
• The food at the Sopris side (non-21+ section) was awesome - great gluten free cauliflower option was super hot and crispy. They did just leave the food outside the window and no one checked it was us who grabbed it so anyone could’ve taken our order if we had waited. Didn’t try the alcoholic drinks but they were pricey for the options.
• The cold plunge pool is small and got crowded often so it was hard to utilize.
• The pool temps on the WorldSprings side is more tepid (105 is the hottest) which is smart since a lot of people are drinking heavily, so you should check out the natural springs side to use some of the hotter pools and the general swim area if it’s a hot day.
• There were a lot of staff members around at all times but I couldn’t tell if they were doing anything other than occasionally removing towels.
• It’s a really large space so easy to spend a whole day here!
• The bathrooms/showers could use some kind of mid-point checkin - there was a lot of hair, debris and even spots period blood in the shower area. You definitely want to make sure you bring flip flops or something to use in the shower area.

I would recommend for the price they’re charging that they upgrade their reservation system and overall service (they employ a lot of people on site - just not sure what they’re doing!). People are paying a lot ($63 for 3 hours) to be here and enforcing people leave at the right time could make the experience better for everyone.
