2020-June, Covid19
Easy parking.
Sign at the door about face mask required. Front desk has the clear plastic board separator.
Check-in could be improved. There were 3 people checking me in. One was a trainee. However the other 2 needs to be a little bit more cheerful. Their tone wasn't pleasant. The other one even gave me the "look" when my credit card fell on their side of the counter. She grabbed a tissue and pick it up. I apologized, she said it's ok.
None of them knows that their machine accepts Samsung Pay, and therefore they don't understand that the last 4 of the card in Samsung Pay will not match the last 4 of the actual card, for security purposes. They had to call their manager about this.
Only 30 people were allowed at the pool per hour so you have to put your name on their list. You ask for pool towel at the front desk, and ask them to open the door to the pool. A staff walked around the pool once while we were in the pool area. I believe the pool was open til 10 or 11 pm.
Pool area was clean. There were only 15 people, including us, when we were there. Hot tub, area with pool slide for toddler, an area with a bigger pool slide for 48" and taller people, and po basketball area. No life guard. Water was warm.
The first room they gave us, was on the top floor, and the farthest from the elevator. Both key cards didn't work. So i had to go all the way back down to front desk and ask for a new set of keys. I also asked for a room closer to the elevator. They did gave me one after about 5 minute wait.
Room 205. The room was clean. Bathroom sink was separated from shower and toilet, and has room for my toiletry bag.
Shower head does NOT have enough water pressure and shower nozzle could be better cleaned. The tub and toilet were clean.
4 sets of towels/hand towels were provided, and 2 face towels. Decent quality towels.
Typical sized shampoo/conditioner/soap were complimentary.
Flat screen with remote control that hardly worked. No HBO although listed in the channel guide. Took photo of the tv input for your use.
The room ac/heater was terrible. We put it @ cool 72°, the room was still warm.. put it @ 68°, no change in room temperature. We put the fan in high and in the lowest temp setting, the room temp got slightly lower, but stops after few hours.
Since Covid restrictions- No breakfast except for yogurt.
Loud noise from some people loudly arguing at the other room at the middle of the night.
Hope you found this review informative.

Read moreWe were excited to visit Glenwood Springs. We stayed at this hotel. Very popular for families and kids. We paid for a suite here. Room was run down. First, the lights didn't work, so we called in for maintenance. The front door didn't close all the way and was loose . It was VERY noisy all night long with kids yelling and running up and down the halls outside our door, so we hardly slept. At night, when it was cold, we wanted to use the fireplace. Messed with it for an hour, and it would not turn on. The next day, we called to have it fixed. The maintenance guy couldn't fix it either and said he needed to order a part. We asked for a different room, but they said they were 100% full. The game room in the basement was smelly and dirty. Everyone who brought their dogs to this hotel was down there and poop was seen in the halls. Half the games were broken. On the last day, we decided to do laundry. The machine took our quarters but didn't turn on. Again, maintenance was called, and they said it won't be fixed for 4 hours and to give our clothes to the main desk to wash for free (never got my quarters back). So I did. It was check out time, and they said i needed to leave so they could clean my room for the next guest. I got my laundry back and hurried out. After explaining my whole ordeal to the manager (hoping for a discount since we had so many issues), the staff gave me the cold shoulder and charged the full price and didn't show any regard for all the issues. Once i got home and put my laundry away, I realized we were missing a lot of clothing items. Including brand new expensive jeans and top. I called the hotel to ask about it and of course they have no clue about even washing our clothes at the front desk. I assume my clothes were stolen. They said they never even washed any clothes. Seriously?? I double-checked the room before we left to make sure nothing was left behind. We Will never return to this...
Read moreWe entered the premises at around 4:45 as i am bartender and work late shifts. Waiting on my apaprtment, I decided to check into a motel (bad idea). Was met with a very disrespectful and spiteful desk lady, heavy set caucasian woman. Our method of payment was cash, and she let us know about the policy regarding the $100 security desposit, but with a very snarly additude. We continued to be respectful with her as i only brought with me a budgeted amount for one single night of check in. I had a card of a relative that offered to pay if something went aury and as we asked her if we could have my relative purchase for us over the phone, she became even more short and agigtated with my husband and I. At this point I'm offering going to the local gas station to purchase a gift card. At this point she becomes overly aggressive and says we have to leave. I asked her why and she proceeding cut me off saying she would call the police. Now at this time its below 40 degrees, raining and the state of colorado had just declared a weather storm emergency. I was in shock as we were in no way loitering and paying clients. I tried to tell her its not suitable to be outside and that we would call an uber, but that we would need about 5 minutes minimum or the local taxi but she grew unreasonably impatient. We only have been in the office 10 minutes.
I am very displeased with the level of horrendous customer service. I believe there was profilong involved as I've spoken this issue with other locals. My husband and I are new to this town and quite like it, but i will never do business with this establishment ever. I do not know the name of the desk "lady" but I will be reporting her to the manager as well as filing a personal report to the Better Business Bureau to investigate this further.
I highly do not reccomend staying here. Please stick with Airbnb or Silver Spruce which kindly helped...
