Review: A Must-Visit Experience at Fairy Caves

If you’re visiting Glenwood Caverns, you absolutely cannot miss the Fairy Caves tour—it’s one of the most unique and memorable experiences I’ve ever had.

The guided tour is fantastic. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating stories about the discovery of the caves, how they’ve been preserved, and what life around them used to be like. They point out stunning formations and fun facts throughout—one that really stuck with me was learning that even the full-length guided tours (including beginner and advanced paths) only cover about 4% of the cave system!

We also had the chance to experience the blacklight phenomenon inside the cave, and that was truly mind-blowing. It added a magical twist to an already incredible tour. The guides do an amazing job of making the tour feel exciting, educational, and fun from start to finish. The 40–60 minutes flew by.

One of the highlights is a spot in the cave where you step out onto a balcony overlooking the cliff—a breathtaking view and a perfect photo op.

Just awesome... 🤯 Want to do some cave exploring ? Multiplex of cave systems with multiple difficulties. Difficulties range from: *A casual stroll. 🕺 *Moderate, got to get on your hands knees sometimes. 🙄 *I hope you're not claustrophobic. You're going to do a lot of crawling.🤕

As if that's not enough ! Take an Alpine racer down the side of the mountain on a fixed track, sure to thrill !;

Sore over the edge of the cliff..😲 do or don't look down that is the question ? Either way , you're still temporarily suspended thousands of feet in the air.

I love cave exploring and the fairy caves didn't disappoint. Parker our Guide was awesome, informative, funny and made it a great time for my kids, wife and I. So much to do as well.
