First of all habitat for humanity is an amazing derive that helps tons of people so I have no problems with the organization as a whole. The individuals working for the great falls store just seem to not understand communication. Don’t bother texting them because they don’t even read the texts. I called them Wednesday to see if they could do a donation pick up the next day. I was able to get a hold of them after several phone calls. I was under the impression that they would come get the furniture from the apartment and sent a detailed text saying that I was not going to there during the pickup time so my neighbor would let them in my apartment and they could get the furniture from there. Tried calling multiple times with no answer and left a voicemail asking them to call me back. I finally get a text hours later saying that was fine. The next day at 9:30 I got a text saying that they weren’t allowed to come into the apartment and if I couldn’t figure it out I was out of luck, fair enough but that could have been communicated the day prior or if they had actually read my text. In a panic I furiously moved all the furniture outside and cancelled my other plans. I told the person through text that I was there. The movers never said anything to me, that they were there or that they ended up leaving a couch outside. Please train your staff how to communicate and answer the phone. I appreciate the good that habit for humanity does but damn there is absolutely no communication. Now my landlord has to move the couch. However something has changed in the past year, the prices are absolutely unreasonable for most items, I understand needing to run a business and the proceeds support great causes but it’s simply out of hand and the customer service is awful. I witnessed a customer today get treated very poorly by staff, she was being a little difficult but they completely ignored her and continued to pester her until she started yelling and making a scene. The employees were really nice but it seemed as somewhat on because we didn't have the big companies like they did coming in and they started treating us like we were a little lower than them I like the old one to have to use things instead they have new carpet they don't a lot of us can't afford that right now that's why we go there it's cheaper sometimes to I'll swear they should check their prices.
