Poppington's Gourmet Popcorn — Local services in Greenville

I spent the day in Greenville South Carolina and found an out of this world popcorn shop in the heart of Greenville, located at 30 S.Main Street. Poppington's Gourmet Popcorn is a little hole in the wall family owned popcorn shop that doesn't have your ordinary popcorn. Poppington's offers a wide variety of flavors like Carmel Apple, Cotton Candy, Spicy Bacon Cheddar, Birthday Cake Chocolate Carmel, and so much more. Poppington's has 3 sizes which you can purchase, small $7.99, medium $14.99, and a large $22.99. They also have available online orders, which is great if you are from out of town and want to buy some popcorn. My family order the Maple Cheddar Bacon and it was to die for, all of the flavors were evenly distributed throughout the mix and the popcorn didn't taste artificial. When we entered, the shop was very clean and the aroma of fresh popcorn roamed throughout the shop, which was delightful to smell. The staff was pleasantly friendly and offered us a ton of help, which was very nice. I really like how you are able to try a flavor before you buy it. Poppington's is open everyday of the week: Sunday: 12pm–6 pm Monday: 11 am–9 pm Tuesday: 11 am–9 pm Wednesday: 11am–9pm Thursday: 11am–9pm Friday: 11am–11pm Saturday: 11am-11pm Since Poppington's is located in main street parking can be difficult to find, but I would recommend trying to find a free parking garage, parking garage, or ventor out for a spot. Greenville is definitely a beautiful place to visit in South Carolina. Such Terrible Customer Service.

So bad wish I could give them 0 stars but sadly I have to give one up. My friend ordered a Large bag of popcorn and asked for a white cheddar, caramel, and jalapeño mix. The lady who attended to us was an old woman who immediately met us with hostility and told us that’s simply (i think it was called this) the south Carolina mix, in a tone as if we should have known this, even though never shopping there before. We noticed the menu said that mix only had jalapeño and caramel and she made a rude remark as if we should have known the jalapeño had cheddar on it???? Since it had cheddar on the jalapeño my friend asked for plain white cheddar too, she kept saying it was already on the jalapeño, which we knew perfectly well my friend just wanted to add white cheddar alone. The lady was very rude and kept fighting us on this and even continued to fight about it and make rude remarks at the register. We just wanted extra white cheddar what’s the big deal lady Lol. Ordered a gift pack for granddaughter's birthday (10/31/24). Ordered on 10/23/24 and paid extra (UPS 3-day Select) for shipping and fully expected it to be delivered NLT 10/31. Unfortunately, Poppingnton's didn't ship our order until 10/29 (no explaination as to why it took six days to ship). Additionally, for some strange reason, Poppington's (and or Shop) changed the delivery address to an address that is nonexistent in the delivery city. Reached out to Poppington's about the address issue after I received a shipping notification from UPS. Prompt response and offered a full refund. Still wanted the product/order and we like supporting small businesses, so I asked about a refund of just the difference between standard shipping and the extra UPS 3-day Select we paid for.
