DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Guilford Township

Not the greatest service. Was told I could exchange an item went back to get the shoes I was exchanging but took a long time for someone to assist me then finally got back up front only to be told I can’t exchange them because store manager Nadine said I can’t and have to go thru the manufacture. Went to location in Hagerstown and all is well. Better off going to the location in Hagerstown MD, much better service and knowledge about products and policies. Also was at the location in Chambersburg about a month ago looking to buy a bicycle but couldn’t buy one because apparently they didn’t have anyone to go over the bike so couldn’t buy any. It seems like every time I go to the Chambersburg location I am met with not only not so great people but I always end up jumping on I-81 south to go to the Hagerstown location. From now on I am just going straight to the Hagerstown location in order to not waste...

I had a defective golf club that I brought back the same day to return because it had broken only after one use at a driving range. I talked to Jim and he was extremely rude and condescending towards me. He basically talked down to me, told me I was a terrible golfer even though he knew I was a new player, and accused me of breaking the club on purpose after I explained what happened. After asking for a manager I was refused the opportunity to speak to one as Jim had "already spoken to a manager and he knew the situation well enough that he knew what to do." After more and more accusations of being told I broke the club intentionally I was told "new people like you don't need to buy clubs. You need to buy lessons." After all that I was still left with a broken club and an overwhelming amount of embarrassment. I can easily say I won't be shopping...

Always a fun trip to the sporting goods store! Last summer I went crazy before fishing camp, buying whacky worms by the xtra value pound, whopper plopper and sink baits- the gait lacrosse stick has been a huge win in our house along with the tk3.4 field hockey stick- probably a dozen cleats in the recent past, today not being the exception …2/15 shopping trip, went right to the cleats BEFORE the season or preseason starts for outdoor and got just the size I wanted- they look so great before the kids wear them! I used one of the buttons to call for help with sizing because the cleats were in a different place than the display- two customer service associates offered to help me, I got in and out hassle free with no lines.
