I don’t typically go out of my way to leave a bad review, but when I am thoroughly dissatisfied with a particular service or the quality of that service? I feel that everyone going to that establishment should know what it’s like there. I don’t know who the new employees are, if they are new. I don’t know who the manager here is, but they clearly do not care about the cleanliness of this establishment. On several occasions now I have entered this particular Menchie’s, and it was absolutely filthy. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, and keep coming back, but it’s always like this. I see the staff members are very young, but that does not mean that this establishment should look like this when there are people literally eating here. You should take pride in where you work and keep it as clean as possible. You are dealing with foods that people consume. I was so extremely turned off by how dirty it was this time that I literally gave the girl at the front my cup of yogurt, and left. It is extremely unattractive, and highly disappointing when you want something so bad, but are so repulsed by how disorganized and disgusting it looks, that you literally have to walk away. Guys, please do better. Please take pride in where you work. I waited 12 hours (work) to come here and get some yogurt, and left empty-handed, because of how dirty this place was. That’s wild to me. Why is the place where I want to go get a treat for myself, so dirty?...
Read moreThe first experience at Menchie’s was okay. There were many flavors unavailable, but to be fair we went an hour before close, so that should be expected on a 90+ degree day. There was no real greeting or explanation of what we should do upon our arrival, so we kind of just had to see what was going on with other people. When we figured it out, we got our food and went.
Paying for the yogurt in weight kind of sucked, only because of the differing weight of condiments.
After paying we were told their dining room was already closed, and directed to an outside area that was kind of crowded, with no tables available. We sat at seats we snatched from tables which were already cleaned up for the night and ate our yogurt, which was pretty decent, but nothing really special.
I’d save my money next time, and go somewhere that has definitive pricing. Customizing your food is great, but I’m really not in to it when it’s based on weight. Just charge for a small, medium, or large cup and move on, charging people extra for excessive amounts. I’m not a digital scale.
I didn’t like that the restaurant was closing at 10, but having got there at 9 we felt like we were invading the employees clean up time. Could have been more welcoming, or at least waited until like 9:45 to start cleaning up... there were still customers coming in behind us. I’d have probably given them 1 star, but their condiment selection was, at...
Read moreHorrible experience! Even leaving the experience on the backend, the yogurt is most definitely sub-par. I waited a while before an employee even came out from the back. When they did come out, I asked about using a promotional coupon I received and Becky, happily said yes, and that it would apply to any size yogurt. When it was time for checkout, Becky began to second guess herself, she decided that she should call her manager before accepting my clearly not expired and entirely applicable coupons. The manager said no for no apparent reason and Becky was not able to provide reasoning for as to why that was the case. We were forced to pay $13 for a single cup of ice cream. The staff was terrible!...
