What convinced me to come in was a family outside super excited about the plethora of coonskin hats they had just purchased. I thought "Now THAT'S the coolest family!" *see pictures

I didn't have time to stop in that night. So, I came back the next day.

Upon entering the Leather Goods shop in Helen, Georgia, I was immediately taken back to the 60's. The rustic smell of leather immediately hits your senses once walking in the doors but the immense selection of belts and purses take over your visuals as soon as you start to peruse. #facts

To be honest, finding the exact belt for my babes at Leather Goods WAS stress due to the selection being immense but your girl finally settled on a black & grey bald eagle belt.

I asked the owner if he could tool *see picture for me thinking I was going to hear another "NO, we don't do that kind of stuff here."

Instead, I received a resounding "sure!" followed by a fabulous conversation about everything under the sun.

What!!! Down home service!??

Polite conversation is a forgotten art, but NOT at Leather Goods in Helen, Georgia.

I was pleased to find out that almost everything sold in this cute shop was MADE IN AMERICA! I was stoked. Not only was I going to gift man with an awesomebelt he has been wanting for a hot minute but it was American Made Quality.

I spent quite some time looking through ALL items this store had to offer, from raccoon tail / Daniel Boone / Davey Crockett hats for my 26 year old son (who has been wearing one since he was six) to a new conceal-carry purse for myself.

The selection of wallets took me 1/2 hour to go through. Men are uber picky about their money holders, which is why it took so long. My guy's wallet has been through 3 tours of duty and it LOOKS like it has. Time for a new one, but I'm going to bring my babes in to pick his wallet. He's going to LOVE this place.

What I loved most about this store = the prices; they were far below the MSRP.

In Helen, Ga EVERYTHING - even Subway - is at eye gouging price standards. Not Leather Goods. I couldn't get it cheaper at a Las Vegas trade convention. (I'm originally from Vegas.)

I am truly impressed with everything about this Helen gem - from the quality products, to the excellent service provided.

I highly recommend stopping in for a cool lifelong lasting souvenir or a beautiful leather purse and oil to keep it clean/conditioned. I will be coming back for my purse after their product shipment comes in, as well as picking up a cowhide rug for my cat because... he's a goodo boy and NEEDS a cowhide rug. 😸 Totally worth the duckets spent to watch him lay upon it like he's a god.

Sure, I could buy my needs / wants on their website, but then I would miss out on a conversation with Tom and THAT'S part of this store's appeal. Infact, all the staff working at Leather Goods in Helen Georgia are fabulous. #truestory

I was in the Helen Leather Goods store the other day and it was a wonderful experience. I am writing this review because I saw the above review which was evidently written by the person I saw while I was there, a man came into the store asking the nice sales person about a belt he purchased yesterday which was a beautiful, fine quality belt which the salesman pointed out was priced at $44.99 due to the higher quality buckle and the tanning process of the leather. He showed the man the clearly marked price on the belt and asked him if he had the receipt and the man just sneered and walked out of the shop. I bought a beautiful leather cowhide backpack for my wife which she has always wanted. GREAT STORE, GREAT PRICES FOR AND...

We absolutely loved this store and Sarah and Tom. We bought 5 belts and had names put on each one. Sarah and Tom talked with us and talked to our kiddos just like we were family. Sarah even let the girls try on hats to match their personalities. It was a shopping experience that we all loved!!!
