Subject: Complaint Regarding Denied Store Credit for Leggings Purchase
Dear Google Review Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received at Dor L For located at 413 Washington St Hoboken, NJ regarding a recent return request.
On 4/5, I purchased a pair of leggings from your store. Unfortunately, upon trying them on at home, I found that the leggings did not fit properly. Determined to return the item, I promptly returned to the store with both the original receipt and the tag that came with the leggings.
To my surprise, the store associate informed me that I could not receive a store credit for the leggings due to the absence of the tag on the pants itself. Despite presenting both the tag and the receipt as proof of purchase, the associate insisted that store policy prevented them from issuing a store credit without the tag physically attached to the item.
This policy seems unreasonable and unfair, especially considering that I provided all necessary proof of purchase. It is not uncommon for customers to remove tags before trying on clothing, and I had taken the precaution of keeping both the receipt and the tag intact for suc this reason. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I urge you to review your store's return policy and consider implementing more flexible guidelines that prioritize customer satisfaction.
I hope that my feedback will prompt positive changes and prevent other customers from encountering similar difficulties in the future. Thank you for your attention to this...

If you remember Dor L Dor as THE place to find a cute outfit without breaking the bank, you’ll quickly notice that it is now a completely different establishment in terms of the style of clothing, the quality, and most notably, the prices. I’ve been a customer here for ten years; everyone knew Dor L Dor as the affordable Hoboken boutique - the styles were classy, charming, unique. The past two years or so, it’s gone completely downhill. Not only have prices skyrocketed, I no longer can find tasteful outfits for anything other than nightclub outings (even still, that’s if you’re lucky, and comfortable showing a LOT of skin). The staff rarely acknowledges their customers, and never have a clue as to what they have in stock (couldn’t even find a blazer or anything remotely resembling a blazer in a pinch, as I would have had no problem doing so just a few years ago). I walk in from time to time hoping that I’ll find something nice, but I just left another visit empty-handed, despite “50% sale” racks (unfortunately, even the 50% off prices are STEEP). I know the economy is hurting, but it’s sad to see that Dor L Dor is no longer able to set itself apart from the other Hoboken...
Read moreDor l Dor is always a great spot to go to when you’re lookig for a last minute outfit at a low cost. Having gone here for years, I find that the clothes are always on trend but are becoming a bit more pricey for clothing that is cheaply made. One of the young girls that works there constantly has a bad attitude and has thrown clothing items out of the fitting rooms onto the floor when she is having one of her fits. I have never experienced any sales associate at this store act in a manner like that but I was appalled. Other than that this boutique is a reliable place to go for a last...
